Same with the S23U. It does my head in. I get the best consistency with my left forefinger. I've given up on thumbs!

Well my dbrand skin lasted 26 hours. Took it out of my pocket and the area to the side of the screen was all scrunched up. I wiggled it back some but looks not great now.
Did yo use a hairdryer to set the adhesive? I've had many brand skins and never had one peel off. Sorry to hear you've lost one. You might be able to recover it with some heat?
No. Didn't think I'd need to since they didn't mention in their install. I'll try heat maybe.

Yeah, it either needs some heat on it (not sure if the Flip edges curve at all), or it's a defect. I've been taking my Fold in and out of my pocket constantly with their leather skin applied without a single sign of peeling, and the leather skin is thicker than the vinyl skin.
The flip edges don't curve that I can tell. I'll try heat. It's the very thin strip on the edge of the outer display. No clue what I did. I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary.
Could some kind person with a flip 5 answer a couple of questions for me?
Firstly, if you change the system text size, does it also change the text size on the flex window? I’d like to be able to make the text bigger on the other screen.
Secondly, if you activate the magnification option in accessibility options, does it also work on the flex window?
I am considering the flip 5 but I have a vision impairment and can’t read really small text so I’m not sure how useful the outer display will be for me. The only demo units I’ve seen in store are always fixed to open so can’t test this myself.

great, thanks! I think that is just the inner screen, don’t suppose you noticed if the text size change affected the outside screen too?I just upped the size and below is what I get

Most welcomed anything else that you need let me know I'll be happy to check or test it for you... I have to dig into routines and routines plus when I get a chance and I'll make sure it's also check for the font sizing

I noticed the hinge is much improved... folding has a smoother feel... I'm really liking this Flip
The individual units all differ. Some Fold 4s had great hinges, some were overly tight and some were sloppy.
I forgot to mention that I was comparing it from my old flip 4 to the flip 5.. but I'm hearing the Fold 5 is improved too ...I can see them being different unit wise though I would expect most to be close in experience
Gotta say, both the Folds and Flips look awesome this year! If I wasn't so spoiled by the S23 Ultra and all the amazing specs I get with it, I'd consider switching to the Fold 5. Dammit we need a Fold 5 Ultra for like $2100.
Last week, I received my Blue Flip 5. Like Bkdodger, I love it. Already, I have the Fold 4 and iPhone 13 mini but it fits in nicely. Previously, I had the Flip 3 but didn't use it much. The outer display was not that impressive and the hinge wasn't that nice. However, the Flip 5 corrects all that and is very pocketable. At present, I'm still learning more about its options but it's fun.
