Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 (& Flip 5) The 2023 Samsung foldables

My only issue thus far is the wallet system, Samsung Pay doesn't work on my Fold 5 for some reason in Spain. The app just crashes, so I'm using my Bank app for payments on my Spanish card and Google Wallet for my Portuguese cards.

Also Samsung Pay doesn't support like 90% of the airlines for tickets lol

@Zito Abroad Opened up good lock and I don't even see a home up module. I only see a make up and life up. Then each one has a list of other apps to download from the galaxy store. Do I even gave the right app? Lol

Did you figure out yet? If not, the Home Up module is under the Make Up heading. So all the modules under Make Up heading are for aesthetics. Everything under Life Up, are for tuning how you use your device. Although, some modules like Home Up do both.

Ah I see. Now I get it. I just set mine up based on the setting you provided and it looks and feels much better. I will further tweak it to my liking and mess with some of the other modules. Thanks again!

Picked up my Fold 5 a few days ago & I absolutely LOVE this thing so far. This is my first folding phone. I've always been interested, but wanted to wait a few iterations of the phone before picking it up. I think the totally flat design was the one thing that made me pull the trigger. Love the way it looks & feels in the hand.

After trying a few cases, I've decided to just rock the phone naked. The cases just add a ridiculous amount of bulk IMO & take away from the overall feel of the phone. I just put insurance on it & called it a day.

Cases suck for the Fold so I'm gonna be rocking a dbrand tan leather skin on the back for added grip (out for delivery now) and Samsung Care+ for the reassurance.

Latercase was too loose and the front piece absolutely sucked. Samsung cases double the thickness of the phone.

That looks amazing! Wow! How much grip does it add? I might look into picking one up as well.

Thanks. It adds a fair amount of grip upon installation, and the grip is only going to get stronger as the leather starts to patina. No blow dryer required for the Fold 5 since the back of the device is completely flat.

Dbrand officially recommends it because they just have a combined Fold 3/4/5 video, but I don't think it's necessary for the 5.

My flip 5 came in last night ..very nice looking phone and that little bit of refinement with the hinge when closed is noticeable.. I got the gray with the black borders very nice and subtle sharp looking.. I will post up some photos later on I didn't get to fully set up last night as I got home late...

It adds just enough grip for me to feel like I won't drop it as easily. Not a ton added, but I do like the feel.

That's all that you'll need then... I feel like this phone is easier in the hand than the previous model... The only thing I don't know if it's because I've gotten used to the Pixel Fold fingerprint sensor but I seem to be missing a little bit more than I want in success rate on this one lol..

Yeah, so far that's my biggest gripe. I have registered, re-registered, registered same fingers multiple times, but I just can't get it to work consistently.

You know I was running with the Flip 4 without any case or screen protector and I had micro scratches on the outside screen.. It annoyed me lol.. I figure since this screen is larger I had to put one on.. It feels pretty good no issues with it other than my fingerprints I'm always wiping the outside screen..
