I don't believe Samsung has it ready yet. Its going to take longer I would imagine, because the the additional features need to be tested. I am fine waiting if that increases the chances of it working. I would not want to go through a half dozen broken releases like Apple seems to be doing lately.
Indeed.

Interesting how everyone has ignored how well the Note8 works right out of the gate, no weird issues unlike some of its competitors.

My Note8 has been a workhorse and even next to the valiant Mate10 Pro, the Note8 stands head and shoulders above the Huawei in overall stability, it just keeps chugging on.

The colouring app....is that on the phone? I don't seem to have that option when I take the S Pen out??
It's part of the PEN.UP features if I am not mistaken, go to your apps, search PEN.UP, you may have to download it.

Agree... Solid as a rock out of the box. I'd rather get updates when they are well tested.

Exactly.

If a new Android release had the ridiculous bugs that iOS 11 has been having we'd be reading endless threads and posts from the iFans of how iOS "just works" , lol.

Interesting how they now don't mind poor quality software when Apple delivers it. I am so sick of updating my iPad, I just want it to be as solid in performance as my Note8.

Can anyone recommend wireless earphones to use with the note 8

I know the AirPods are decent but they are more suited to the iPhone....all the features doesn't work with the note 8....

My AirPods are much more flaky with my S8+ compared to when paired with my iPhone 7, so I agree they're not the best match for Android.

Yeah I have heard that

I am looking at other options but they're are not many apart from Beats tbh
I don't see the point paring the AirPods with the NOTE 8 when you won't get any of the feature that makes it the price it is

The fact that you mentioned AirPods means we probably have different tastes... I think they are ridiculous looking and poorly designed (as is the case with all Apple earbuds... no rubber grommet to seal in the ear).

But that said, I got a pair of Beats X as part of a deal when I bought my Note 8 and use them at the gym. They sound good and stay in my ears. Not had any problems with them pairing between my Note 8 and Gear S3. For serious listening I've got Bose QuietComfort over ear, and earbuds. That's why I like the headphone jack.

How do you find the Bose? The earphones
They are very expensive and cost like £200

On a long haul 12 hour flight they are literally heaven. I primarily use them on planes or other noisy settings.

At the gym I like the Beats and don't want to block out all sound.

The cord on the beats x is long though
thats what I hate about it
Why didn't you go for the Powerbeats?

Ok, probably no one cares. I have decided to keep my Note 8. This is a incredible phone. I'll probably never use all the features, much nicer then any other phone I have ever owned. Thanks to all that gave me their opinions. I know this is trivial, I love how easy it is to put the apps in alphabetical order. Thanks, again, Dave

I really didn't think much about it. The cord is long but hasn't been a problem using them. I run and they stay seated in my ears.

I personally prefer the Sony 1000x over the Bose QC35. The Bose sounds flat to my ears.

For the gym, I would not recommend either. My qc35 was the designated gym headset and the ear pads were ruined cause of the sweat. I have since moved onto Urban Ears Hellas. Washable ear pads are nice. Does not block the gym’s crappy music though

Last Apple 7+ and Nexus 6p. I liked the Apple, one of several Apples I've owned. Wanted a new phone, didn't think the Apple 8 was a better phone then my 7+. My 6p was a good phone, in fact it still is. Had a new battery pu but in ($40.$) Back up phone. Didn't want the Apple X. Tried the Note 8, like it a lot. I am not a techie, just want a phone that I enjoy. No phone is perfect, I want it to do the things I need it to do. The Note 8 fits the bill.
More phone then I need. Don't we all buy something at one time or another that is overkill? I'll look around again in two years. Apple will be considered.

I don't want wireless on a plane. I have QC25 and QC20. I primarily use the 20s now since I got the Surface Pro and greatly lightened my travel kit. While not as good at blocking noise, they are a lot more comfortable for sleeping on the plane, and tiny in comparison to the 25s.

Yeah I was looking to switch from apple and quite a few reasons presented themselves so I did. At first I considered the s8 plus but it' over 6 months old so I'm like why not fully upgrade to a brand new top of the line phone so I did!
