Point me in the direction of where I can get a Galaxy S8/S8+ for buy one get one free. It's been out for nearly 4 months.

I'm just estimating, but I believe there have been at least 6 or 7 BOGO deals on the S8/S8+ so far, probably even more. Samsung themselves have had 2 or 3, Tmobile has had at least 2 and I believe has one going on right now, or it just ended. Verizon, Sprint and ATT have had them as well.

Got any proof? I find it hard to believe you could pre order a £700 flagship and come away with 2 devices.

Come on dude, really? Can someone please jump in here and save me the trouble of finding all the links to the BOGO offers? I am sure of one, I got a BOGO deal on the preorder of the Note 7 on Verizon at Costco.

I've seen them, requiring to trade in a recent phone. Not quite the same.

Nope, Samsung in particular had a BOGO where you just buy 2 S8 or S8+ from their website, activate the phones and get a rebate check for the amount of one of the phones. No trade in required, no new line required you simply had to activate them on an existing line or new line. This was about a month ago and may still be active, I'm not sure.

Here it is, but it's sold out: http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/ph...xy-s8-promotion/?CID=AFL-hq-mul-0813-11000946

USA is different because they have bogo deals within the first month of release but it requires adding a new line and what not.

Yeah, I've just seen that. Not exactly a proper buy one get one free if you have to take out a contract.

Yeah, I got burned with a BOGO from T-Mobile. Planned on doing the same as some of you, sell off the free one to pay for the one I keep. Unfortunately T-Mobile screwed me and i didn't get the rebate.

Where do you have to take out a contract? You are just twisting the semantics around every time I show a BOGO deal. Just buy the 2 phones, activate them, pay them both off fully and cash your rebate check. Done deal, no contract, no new activation of a line. Yes some of them have stipulations, but they are still BOGO offers.

Why is it so difficult to believe Samsung phones get tons of BOGO offers? I predict the Note 8 will also, especially because Samsung is positioning it to release right at the same time as the iPhone 8.

Well nobody will give a proper 2 for 1 special just like that without an incentive. They hook people into bill credits for the 2nd device to get a customer for 2 years or $ owed on the remaining device balance.

Are you from the UK? Unfortunately we don't have any of these BOGO deals over here but in the US they are common.

I'm curious, are the Samsung deals not outside of the US? I'm not sure, never read the fine print. I know many of the bogos included the unlocked version.

The reason I doubted it being a straight forward buy one get one free was because I've never seen anything like that for a brand new flagship device here in the UK. I get emails about offers etc and I'd be straight on something like thatsaw it. It's easy money.

Can't say I've seen one here in NZ.
I'd go for it if we did.
We get stored discounts and release promo's, SD cards, vr and such but I can't recall bogo deals.
I wish we did.

Never saw any deal like that here in Sweden. Always jelly that they keep showering you guys in 'em.

Edit:the bogo deals, that is. We also get the vr bundle etc, lighter stuff like MRU says.
