Can't necessarily argue with you however my experience has gotten better over the course of today. My initial assessment was wrong: software is fine, it was the placement that created so many fail attempts with the FPS. I've trained myself on the right way to place my finger.

So, yes, I was holding it wrong.

Which means Samsung still has a crappy FPS. However my success rate has increased greatly to the point that I just unlock without thinking about it.

If only it were in the middle below the camera. I had no problem using such a setup with the Nexus 6P (also a large phone), but the Note felt extra awkward especially when I thought about using a flip case.

So what colour are people getting?

Black is cool but pretty boring and the only other colour here is gold, which might be TOO gold!

Wish I could get the grey or blue!

A guy in my department just got his today - it’s beautiful! He got the black.
Verizon gave him the runaround - the phones were delivered yesterday (they were shipped a week early), but the Verizon Store he went to wouldn’t release the phone to him until next week - said they weren’t authorized to set it up until then. So he yelled a little and got them to give him his phone, and he’s setting it up himself. Very strange. But it’s gorgeous. ‘OMG it’s full of stars....” that’s what it looks like ( it thinner of course lol)

I preordered the Note 8 64GB Midnight Black yesterday and already have a tracking number and serial number. I used JOD to jump from iPhone 7 Plus to this Note 8. I only jumped to get the free Gear 360 camera and I like to change OS's every once in a while. Might jump to the iPhone 8. I love T-Mobile!

The phone is a lot of fun. Bit of a pain to transfer everything but so good so far. As mentioned, fingerprint sensor is a pain to get used to. Otherwise I am liking it. Compliments my 7+

Mine is so beautiful. I am loading it up now with all my stuff and transferring my text messages from my iphone over. Gosh, its fast!
