Not really. Only used it once so far trying it. I may start using it more once I learn the phone a bit more.

Thanks. In Canada now, so I am far from the storm as possible. I got really lucky to find an affordable flight since most out were like $1200-$1800 range.
Damn, you left the entire country. You wasn't playing games. LOL
It was the cheapest flight out and luckily I have family there. Beats going to ATL or some other city and paying for hotel fees.

The NOTE is absolutely the best phone ever got.
First iphone then the 4 awestruck me,but this one checks all my needs.
It's beautiful in every aspect,JUST LOVE IT.
2-3 years ago i used the bash android all the time,not anymore.
My wife still loves her 7plus and wants to get the 8 next week,not me I will get every Note from now onwards, unless something more tempting comes up.
The joy and happiness I am getting using this phone, I barely slept last night.

I echo what everyone else is saying about the N8! Awesome phone...speed and quality is unrivaled. Hate the FPS location still from the S8+...but using iris scanning for now.

It's only my wife and I. We don't use touch id or FPS ever so we are good on that front.No kids, both are parents, family gone.

It's only those who had the fingerprint system on the iPhone that gripe. Nothing comes close that have used to the 7's quality. Fantastic. I'm getting a bit more used to mine. The Note 8 is notably heavier vs my 7+.

Once you start you’ll be astounded at what it can do. It’s not just a finger replacement.
Works with every app that I've tried, including Whatsapp. There is also a toggle for one word only, or complete sentence/paragraph.
Anyone encountering an issue where you get an error message randomely popping up saying you have to turn on simplified settings to turn on Bixby? I have not set up Bixby, no intention of using it. I've turned off the Bixby home screen. I can't tell if this is a weird issue with my phone or Sammy's way of trying to heckle me into using their crappy assistant.
That's pretty awesome. I use a bunch of languages daily in WhatsApp and some of them I'm not so great at, this would definitely speed up all the going to a dictionary to check a word I do on a regular basis.
While I'm still a bit disappointed that the screen isn't wider, I'm starting to really look at all the other reasons I want this phone so I don't dismiss it solely because of the screen.
I don't have Bixby setup and have not gotten any notifications like the one you describe.....
Is there any good deals in the U.K. For the Note 8?
