You're right I forgot the 7+ included the normal shot too.
So why are the reviewers making such a big deal about it like Samsung are the first to do it?

It's the post adjustment of the blur that reviewers are making a big deal of. And rightfully so.
Oh I agree that the live focus and post shot adjustments are Greta and I'm looking forward to using them.
Can you still do artificial brokeh from the front facing camera like you could on the S8 plus?
Also on old Samsung phones using selective focus you could chose which part of the picture foreground or background was in focus after taking the picture is that gone now they have the dual lens photo?

Oh cool thanks for explaining this I was curious how it was different. The difference is the second saved image is the one from the telephoto lens without bokeh on the iPhone, but on the Note 8 is the second image the one from the wide angle lens.

Glad you decided to get out of Florida. We made evacuation plans earlier this week just in case but hoped we wouldn’t need to use them. When the storm moved west and targeted the west coast of Florida, that was enough ‘encouragement’ for us to get out of town (we live in Tampa, within 100 meters of Tampa Bay). Spending a few days in Atlanta now.
Thankfully for us, storm made a last minute turn into Central Florida (heart goes out to those folks of course) so very good chance I’ll have a house to return to—hell, Home app on my iPhone shows my house miraculously still has power.
Apologies for the mini-tangent. Just glad whenever i hear a fellow Floridian is safe.
Given the way most plans are structured you’ll pay about half that price and then upgrade 12 months later.
Sadly this is the issue I've found on Samsung devices..after a while twitter notifications stop coming through while on apple devices it's unlimitedGot a gripe with the notification center unless there's possibly a fix.
Woke up this morning with 21 notifications on Twitter. Pressed the dropped down on Twitter to see them. Only showed 8. If I deleted one then another would show.
This can be a problem for me. On the iPhone, I would browse the many Twitter notifications as it shows all notifications and click on the one I wanted to see.
Any fix to this?

Darn. That sucks. Did a quick search in the Play store and couldn't find something to alter this but it was just a quick look.
I use Twitter as my main social media feed and seeing all the notifications are important so I can view/respond to the one I need to.
How do you guys deal with this?
Sadly all twitter notifications stopped coming through after 50 tweets which means you need to clear out the twitter notifications before they start coming through again

Hey, to each their own and all that but is it really that important to review all incoming tweets on the notification shade vs just going into the app? What's the difference?
Nobody should have to pay $1000 for an iPhone X either because that's insane pricing for very little benefit over older phones. But people will pay and Apple will maximize its bottom line because it can. I personally think the Note 8 might be ahead of the iPhone X now tbh.
I really wouldn't put it past customers to splurge on the iPhone X.
Analysts suggest consumers will pay $999+ price of iPhone X as they prioritize spending
That just goes to show you how blind apple customers are. They'll buy the next iPhone because it has an apple logo.

Yep, there are a ton of them here, rightfully expected. I personally think iOS is good and so is Android. At this point, Apple better come swinging with the iPhone X or it's sayonara to them from me. I refuse to pay premium pricing. I can get the Note 8 for $150 out of pocket after a BOGO deal, selling my SE, and selling the freebies with the Note 8. Already have a buyer lined up for the 360 camera.
A lot of people on this side of the board would argue that I am better off with the Note 8 because of the best OLED screen on the market, the blazing fast 835 processor, superb dual camera experience, a high end water resistant stylus, a VR experience in the palm of my hand, Samsung's bevy of features, and the other features the Note 8 packs.
I say not so fast because I have to give the iPhone 8 a fair chance since I waited all this long. It's about 60/40 in favor of the Note 8 because I do miss some android features, but then again, I might miss iOS again at some point because both are good OSes. Though Samsung's laggy software will take ultra patience. iOS' Fisher Price style takes patience too because it lags on the 7+ and could lag on iOS 11 with the new iPhone X because it may be a rushed product.
[doublepost=1505146391][/doublepost]Btw, you have to laugh at the notion you must pay a premium for a stylus that needs to be charged and is exclusive to iPads when the Note line has a stylus that works without being charged. And it works well to add.
I can't believe people still try to make this argument.
