with regards to phone insurance, if you have a WellsFargo credit card, you have $600 phone insurance built in. I have a WF CC from when I was a WellsFargo checking customer, but use Chase now. But the only thing I use this card for is paying our cell phone bill in order to have the insurance.

While $600 won't cover my Note 8 (for example) fully, there's no monthly premium and the deductible is only $25. So I figure it's about the same as if I had Asurion - paying the monthly fee (adds up quickly) and then having to shell out a ridiculous deductible (what is it up to these days? $200?).

The problem with that Spigen case is the the top and bottom lips are just bendable rubber. It's not hardened at all and that is why my screen cracked where it did. You can see in the picture that the lip on the lower left area where there screen cracked, scuffed. I now have a OtterBox case on the S7 Edge that I replaced the broken one with and it has hardened edges and corners all the way around.
Goes to show, not all cases are made equal no matter how similar in design, the materials make a huge difference in shock resistance.

I have a Spigen Liquid Armor case so far and it is nice. But I had to ditch my old screen protector since the guy sold me a ****** one. I asked for a refund since it was sold not as described because the glue dried off from the sides pretty instantaneously, but nothing from his side. Amazon could definitely help me. I might go to Best Buy or T-Mobile to get a screen protector.

They sound good to me. I mainly use Spotify. I'm not an audiophile but can also tell when music/earphones sound like garbage. I think these sound great for casual listening at my desk or during my workouts (main reason I got them). They may not have all the features available like they would if paired with iOS, but at least the double tap on the airpod plays/pauses the music.

I’ve dropped my S7 edge at least 20 times since I’ve had it, and it has protected it every time. Yours hit on the screen which the case doesn’t protect. Literally no case protects.

No. The impact area was directly on the lower left corner right where the glass meets the metal frame. There's even a small piece of glass missing down there. That area was covered by the case. The phone fell on a concrete step landing on the left bottom corner and then skidded a bit which cause that lip in the case to scuff.

I think the point of impact was where the glass is missing and that area was covered by the case.

Well my Note 8 is all packed up and probably at FedEx as we speak, sigh. One weird thing I noticed this morning is that it was sent FROM their returns center, I wonder if I got a refurb or something. I ordered it straight from Samsung.com. But right on the return label it says it's from Samsung Returns.

My return label (defective Note 8 from Samsung.com) is going TO Samsung Returns. The phone get's distributed from Digital River (IIRC), in the same city as the returns. The return label on my original package is not the same as the address for my return. Doubt you got a refurb.

The return address on the shipping label when I received my Note 8 was from the returns dept. If the phone is still home tonight I'll snap a pic. I believe it was in Indiana. The return address first line was "Samsung Returns" or something like that. I highly doubt I got a refurb also, but it was just interesting. Maybe they just do that so if it gets sent back that's where it goes?

gotcha. mine are 2 different addresses. Not that it really matters but is intriguing. But with a company as large as Samsung, I'd imagine most folks get their phones to/from different addresses across the US.

My Note 8 came from
501 AIRTECH PKWY
PLAINFIELD, IN US 46168

and is going back to:
2675 Reeves Road, Suite 190
Plainfield, IN US 46168

It's possible the return address for mine was the first one you posted, I can't recall. But I do recall seeing the Samsung Returns and wondering about it this morning. Where it's being returned for the refund is your bottom address for sure.

With. No battery indicator how do you know when the AirPods battery is low?

Also how often do you charge your AirPods?

Hmm, good question. I'm not sure how to tell the battery % but I charge the case once or twice a week when I'm sitting at my work desk. I don't listen to the airpods for more than 10-12 hours in a given week, so my usage is quite low probably compared to others.

Must say, I am very impressed with ho many apps this phone keeps in memory, lol.

I've been hammering it since 11am this morning (it's a public holiday here), it's now almost 10pm, and it still had YouTube, GMail, Messages, and other apps exactly where I had left them in the morning when I was going through my Recents list, i checked each app and sure enough it didn't reload it just opened exactly where it was where I left it.

Love it love it love it!!

Tend to be easily distracted andove around a lot off apps throughput the day, so I sometimes forget if I am busy with something even here with Tapatalk, I'll write a post and halfway go do something else and forget the post, 4hours later I open Tapatalk and boom the post I was typing is still waiting to be finished,y S7 Edge would have closed it with an hour or so of usage.

On iOS devices if you open the case with at least one AirPod still in the case if you have the battery widget enabled it will tell you how much charge is in the case and for the airpods. When you first open the case and connect to your iOS device you get a pop up on the screen which gives you the same info. However I suppose on android I don’t think you can see this.

However I think if you open the case without the airpods in and it’s showing an orange light it means that your case is running low and you should charge it.
