I think these are the day 1 updates that all other carriers got right away, IIRC. Nothing for my T-Mobile Note 8 that's new. And VZW and T-Mobile have been ahead of AT&T with updates on the S8 so I assume it'd be the case with the Note 8.

Is there a way to use FHD as my main resolution and have my Note 8 bump it up to QHD when playing videos on YouTube or when I use my gallery?

Does anyone know how to change the Samsung Dialer background color when you're in a call? Mine shows up as a Burgundy color and I want it to a blue. When I check my contacts' generic backgrounds in my contacts app, it shows the same Burgundy color as well. Any help on changing that?

Two quick questions

The lazy one first: is this puppy available unlocked yet? I'm guessing yes?

Two: how is the Samsung "ecosystem" you know their app store and everything else you get when you set up an account

I preordered an unlocked Note8 and it's supposed to ship next week, so it's available unlocked.
I've not had any issues with the Samsung ecosystem and I find their apps to be every bit as good as the ones on iOS.

I wasn't happy with the hardware in general. Too tall, too narrow, hated the curved edges, no viable security for how I use my phone, and some stuff with Touchwiz. It's a phenomenal phone and most of my gripes are just personal and not really knocks on the phone other than how I personally use it.

Thats a lot of personal knocks, sums up my use of it.

I think the original zagg for Note 8, according to video, had a manufacturing defect.
Does look very well organised the fitting proceedure, never seen this before!

Well per people who have used both they said the zagg newest version still doesn't do well for finger sensitivity. This is on the androidcentral forums.

BTW, for those who haven't done it, there is a huge amount of TouchWiz app updates in Galaxy Apps, up to 14, including updates to Air Command, Live Message, Photo Editor etc... I then also found a TouchWiz Launcher update in Google Play Store

The TouchWiz UI update seems to be going live by region and carrier aonif you don't have it yet hang tight.

From what I have noticed, it has made TouchWiz is even more snappy and added this feature for better access to the Notification Bar, still getting around to see what else it added
