I do wonder if the video has to be taken on my phone to do that though. Most of the time, it's someone using their phone to take a video and then they send it to me
Ohhh I'm not sure to be honest, we will find out on Wednesday (22nd). I believe that on the Pixel you can do it with Google One, much like you can with Magic Eraser and editing photos. My guess is it will be similar, it may even be the exact same feature that Google has licensed out to Samsung.

Wednesday is going to be very interesting that's for sure, some of these features seem very useful.

That's awesome!

Google One is VERY good value for money. The 2TB option is £79.99 here in the UK, we get Fitbit Premium and Nest Aware, Google WorkSpace and Magic Editor features. All of that is included, and on top of that there's 10% back in the Google Store, so for example if you buy a Pixel Phone, you get 10% back in your Google Store cash.

Another offer from Samsung via email (UK)

Yeah, I'm still disappointed Samsung removed Glance from the S-Pen menu. How often do you use the S-Pen on the S24U?

I use the S-Pen a bit, signing PDF documents is quite good. Taking notes and doodling, also using it when taking pics is really good. I use it for that when taking group photos.

I can't say I use it tons, but it's one of those things that when I need it, I'm really glad it's there! (like signing pdfs, annotating maps for people etc.)

same here...but I gotta say if they removed the S-Pen slot to make room for say a 6000 mAh battery...i would not be mad. Still have the S-Pen and all it brings to the mix just not have an internal slot.

Final specs seem to also have leaked. If they turn out to be true, there's very little hardware improvements, which is kind of expected, but a shame there's no improvement in screen brightness, which is something I always look forward to.

I've got the S24+ and the S25+ seems to have exactly the same screen, ram, battery, design, cameras, etc. The most exciting part to me is actually the blue colour it does look like the blue iPhone 12 I had. I wish it was more vibrant, like the blue iPhone 16, which is really cool.

So, if almost no hardware improvements turns out to the true, well good for saving money and keeping the S24+ another year, which should be the case anyway since it's really new still.

Excited nonetheless for the software new features coming also to the S24 lineup.

I do wish also Samsung made more bold choices with their phone colors.

It seems the upgrades are all about AI, which is disappointing. I may stick with my S24 Ultra. I wonder if they will also update the Galaxy Ring, Ring 2.

This is interesting, possibly the first update tk the S-Pen in a while.

If Samsung is going to be using Gemini system wide, including apps and everywhere. The one feature i hope they implement more than anything, Reimagine Photos with Magic Editor. It's an awesome looking feature that would be great for editing photos. I'm not sure if it's a Pixel only feature tho.

well they've already spent, are spending, money to develop gemini so they may as well make money by providing it to samsung. Then of course, it has the added advantage of perhaps stopping samsung from developing a competitor AI... not to mention the more devices gemini gets on, the larger the data pool it can train on and the better it gets.

It’s hardly very unique as all the flagship Chinese brands are leveraging exactly the same functionality from Google. It’s literally the same bag of functions in every review not matter the model of phone.

Yeah, that’s Pixel only. It’s included in the Pixel Studio app.

That’s because of the models the plus is the weakest selling. The top seller is the Ultra with over 50% then the baseline S24, and then someway behind is the S24+. Probably because those who want a compact phone will get the base model and those who want a big phone will get the Ultra.
