I get people have differing personal tastes...we should all respect those differences. Also that is a two-way street.
One person might post and say how dumb something looks while other love the way it looks......that goes both ways to be honest.
Then there are those here that post many many contradictory likes or dislikes.....One post they hate something only to love it the next post when the wind changes.....
Then it doesn't matter if you start a thread...that doesn't mean you get to control the narrative in the thread.

I think you misunderstood my post, I’m not trying to control anything. I’m posting what I think, opinions can change. I’m not set in stone with any brand, if I like something I’ll say it, if I don’t I’ll also say it, I can also change my mind on something 🤷🏻‍♂️, I may watch the event and like what I see, or I may not. So far all anyone has had to go off is what’s leaked.

They are the same rings on the Z Fold 6, I don’t have a problem with it.. how often do we actually look at the back of the phone lol.

yeah...its a lot to do about nothing.....They are almost identical except for the color going from silver to black.
I like the uniformity across products anyway. It creates a more standard look.

Looking forward to the event. Missing the S Pen since selling the S24U last year.
May replace the Pixel 9 Pro XL with the S25U. Really like the Pixel but it's not very customizable.

The s-pen is great, the leaks are saying Samsung will remove Bluetooth for it tho. Not sure if that will affect the ability to control the camera from a distance. Will see what the event brings in a few hours.

Haha that was the 1 of 2 reasons why I'd use the S-Pen. The other is for signing contracts.

I wish they would bring back the voice control for the camera. I remember being able to just say "shoot" and it would take the picture. But now I just use Gemini and tell it to "take a picture in 3 seconds"......works for portrait or selfie.
I never used the s-pen for pictures to be honest

Voice control would be even better, I didn't know that Gemini could be used to do the same thing 😳
I do really like Gemini, especially Gemini Live it's great. I'm really hoping Samsung announce a similar thing, from the teaser they showed it sure seemed like it.

Oh pdfs is great to sign with the S- Pen, it's one of the reasons I use it over my iPhone. Some days i use my iPhone more, others i use my S24 Ultra more. It really depends what I'm doing during the day.

Oh that is actually awesome that Gemini can do that. I wonder if you could even tell Gemini to take 3 photos in a row.

But you can always hunt for a S-Pen Pro refurbished… that’s what I did.

@jamezr since you running One UI 7 on the S24U, did they take out Air Actions on it? Reason I asked… since One UI 7 will be on S25U and S-Pen is rumored to have bluetooth removed. I wonder if they plan to remove Air Actions in the settings.

FYI for those in the US who are considering pre-order: Rakuten was offering 10% cash back bonus on Samsung online purchases.

Until 26 Jan 8:59 PM PST, it is "boosted to 20% fine print says 14% cash back for mobile phones...

Is the S-Pen Pro any different from the normal in terms of features?
 
With around half an hour left to go, has anyone had their pre-registration code for the £100 or $100 for our American friends? I haven't had anything yet, If I remember correctly it was during the event last year.

Air actions are still there in the One UI 7 latest beta

Do they normally start preorders during the event or right when it's finished? I'm trying to remember from past years. Very eager to learn my trade in value haha.

Last year i managed to see prices during the event.
