The only thing I care about honestly with this phone is it's lighter and easier to hold and I don't care about anything else.

I also got origin scan with delivery set for tomorrow woohoo!! Sorry for being the Debbie downer but hey I hope my pessimism made the origin scan a lot more satisfying lol!

Whilst on paper this appears true the reality is the last 3 IPhones releases have been a bug feast
What does bugs have to do with updates appearing in a timely manner? All modern phones nowadays have bugs that go unnoticed… Samsung and Google. As of now, I have a bug where it only displays 2 apps on the recent taskbar with the Fold 6. When set to display 4… for which this bug has appeared since I had the Fold 6. And supposedly there’s a fix (found on Reddit), but I’d have to either reinstall all my apps OR reset the phone to factory.

There are so many postings on issues and lack of QA/QC it's ridiculous and this is from IPhone faithful
And let me guess… Samsung, Google or other OEMs doesn’t have crazy amounts of post concerning bugs on their phones? No phone maker is immune to it.

Apple standards have dropped drastically when you look at the postings and now live exploits having to be fixed and not using the pushed updates shows the inconsistencies further.
Huh? We get security updates monthly on Android concerning exploits that need to be addressed… I’m only speaking to the lack of consistency when it comes to deploying updates. You of all should know… it’s an issue concerning Android, especially regarding fragmentation.

Happily, Google is trying to fight back with fragmentation… allowing for longer software support. But the truth of the matter is Samsung being behind now, given Android 16 is out on beta and we haven’t received Android 15 on Galaxy devices yet.

iPhone 16 doesn't use the same modern as S24U.

iPhone 16 pro/max - Qualcomm X71
S24U - Qualcomm X75
S25U - Qualcomm X80

Good news is that S25U does use the latest and greatest.

This is a fact that not many people are aware of. Apple apparently cheaped out, could've used the X75 (that's what we all expected) and instead a modified X70 I think.

So is Samsung behind with Android by a whole year? If they haven’t even put out Android 15 yet and 16 is already on the way.

Do Pixel devices get Android versions first? So like 15, 16 and so on.

I’m just trying to weigh up getting a Pixel and with all the features now being shared with Samsung, is there anything that Pixel gets that makes people go Pixel rather than Samsung?

Not a whole year, not even 6 months. The public release of Android 15 hit pixels in October of last year.

It is just the beta of 16 that has been released!

I was only referring to this part "One UI 7 should of been tested at least a year ago" and noting it has not helped Apple be any less if not more bugged of late and they have complete control of timescale and release and deployment :)

Live exploits are a whole league above theoretical ones and Apple should of pushed deployed the update

Google are often lagging behind some of Samsung tweaks to android and don't get bent out of straight if sometimes its reversed or as we have seen with the S25 are getting some stuff ahead of UI updates.

I rather the Android model were many are pushing things forward even if it means sometimes it appears fragmented than Apple singular approach that can make things seem stale and dogmatic :)

I ordered the Blue Titanium. Excited to get this beauty tomorrow!

I really should be trading in my Iphone16P for this as it would be far more useful but Samsung UK seems not to want them LOL
Nobody seems to want the 16 pm either. Recycle value in uk for 16PM 256 is only £20 more than the 15PM 256 currently on 1 site!

Is this worth the extra price over the normal Watch 7?

View attachment 2477142

I think so yeah... not quite the apple watch ultra IMHO but not bad at all!

I kinda like the galaxy watch classics though because they have the rotating bezel for scrolling through lists. The last one was the 6 and there was no 7.... the rumour is that there will be an 8 classic later this year though.

Anyway, I think that's a good price for the ultra and it's a good watch.

Did Samsung confirm they are working on a Trifold. This was a screenshot taken from the Unpacked event. Look at the image next to the headset. It looks like the rumoured Tri-Foldable. Did they leak their own products 😂
