Are there any S25 Ultra exclusives? from what I've seen a lot of the features are coming to S24 lineup via One UI or a Google update. For example I've already got the new Gemini feature, with overlay that can give information of whats on your screen (Youtube videos and so on).
All al features are coming to s24 ultra I believe unless Samsung go apple route and lock it

My S25 Ultra (1TB Black) arrived couple of minutes ago and at least it seems nice. Too bad I don't have any type of case for it for a while since I would prefer wallet-type case and this year Samsung didn't make any first party wallet cases for S25 lineup. The ones that are available seem like they are made out of horrible materials and they completely block the use of Qi2 chargers and ones that support it won't ship until at the end of February.

I've had good luck with Spigen Slim Armor CS cases. It has a sliding door on the back to access cards. I can get 2 credit cards, my drivers license and a thrice folded $20 in there. Qi2 charging works too.

Nobody has received an origin scan yet right? I think the Jan 30th estimate is a mistake by Samsung

In the uk from Samsung, it’s usually later in the evening when they send a dispatched email, followed by a notification from DPD, the courier. Delivery is then the next day

yeah Im expecting a dpd notification friday night for delivery saturday but I wouldn't mind it earlier ;-)

yeah! reviews are fine and all but it's not until loads of people actually have a chance to play with them that we'll find out how good they are
I expect plenty of good results and reviews from the normal folks, I'm sure they might be a couple of things some would like improved but I think that's the case with every phone.

This is one area where Apple is head and above shoulders Samsung when it comes to deploying updates... One UI 7 should of been tested at least a year ago. It's like Samsung starting testing it months ago and that's why they are behind. Because when it comes to Apple... ironically older devices get updates first and this is across all devices.
Whilst on paper this appears true the reality is the last 3 IPhones releases have been a bug feast

There are so many postings on issues and lack of QA/QC it's ridiculous and this is from IPhone faithful

Apple standards have dropped drastically when you look at the postings and now live exploits having to be fixed and not using the pushed updates shows the inconsistencies further.

Samsung have learned and come out on the other side apple are now hitting a new curve on playing catch up and it shows

Yep. This.

I used to insist that iPhones were buttery smooth, far less bugs than android etc. but the last few years it's been getting worse and worse. Just that sense of "eurgh it's done that again" that you get with a device you can't quite trust.

I’ve been a bit disappointed with iOS 18, I’ve not found it to be very smooth in general on my 16 pro max. I agree the last few years it feels like the software is often rushed.

It’s great that all devices get the update at the same time but not so if everybody then gets, what often feels like, beta software

Although I'm fully into foldables, I just ordered the S25U for a family member, and saw that Samsung has a Crocs case for the S25 line. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

I don't think it will arrive on the 30th, I think Samsung marks it as shipped once the label is created. It's unlikely we'll see movement until next week.

This is another reason why Pre-Orders with Samsung are the best. You get the absolute best deals with free stuff you get to choose and shipping is either a day or more early or on time.

Excited for everyone to receive their new phones!!

When you get time please tell us your first impressions!!

Google and Apple should really copy Samsung with their pre order deals. It has kept me a loyal customer for many years now. I may not upgrade every year but when I do it is always a pre order and some years are better than others but I haven't seen betters deals from any manufacturer than Samsung.

Some have said no one pays MSRP and I would agree unless you get it through a carrier as even if it is "free" the post paid plans always cost so much more that they make up the full MSRP. That is why it is always best to buy direct through Samsung and find the cheapest pre paid plan. You will more than make up the cost of your phone!!

TechOdyssey had some cool stuff to share after 1 week of S25U use.

I was unaware that the S24U and iPhone 16 Pro Max have the same modems. He said the iPhone wifi stability has been horrible (switching between APs and signal strength in general).

S25U apparently uses a different modem and he has been thrilled about how well it works in the same places where iPhone has been terrible.

Anyone have any experience with the Galaxy Watch Ultra? I was wondering how it compares to the normal Galaxy Watch 7.

iPhone 16 doesn't use the same modem as S24U.

iPhone 16 pro/max - Qualcomm X71
S24U - Qualcomm X75
S25U - Qualcomm X80

Good news is that S25U does use the latest and greatest.
