Speaking of cameras, this is really impressive! While you probably think it's not the greatest pic, my dog was moving really fast when I snapped it. No blur.

I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what the phone can do. Thanks to all who keep posting the videos. It helps me sort out some of the things I didn't know about.

On a side note, I'm gonna be selling a few cases for the ultra if anyone is interested. Samsung case: clear, blue kindsuit, flipsuit, and some samsung anti-glare screen protectors. Will let them go for cheap.

Cute pup. I agree it does way better than past Ultras handling motion in challenging lighting. Long been a reason I wouldn't use the camera anytime I was indoors. It's not *quite* on the Pixel/iPhone level now but close though that I don't find myself unhappy with the shot in most cases

100%. They now do a well enough job where this will no longer always be a "yeah but" with this phone. Super happy with this improvement!

I've spent almost a week without my 16 Pro Max now and surprisingly I haven't missed it at all. It was a good decision to sell it and stick with only phone.

Same; my 16PM and AWU2 sold together and I've been with my Galaxy Watch Ultra and now Pixel 9 Pro Fold since and it's been great; haven't missed the iPhone at all, nor the watch.

Prefer the GWU in all honesty; love it's chunkier, more rugged design and layout

Excited to see how good the S25U is though; the S24U didn't win me over unfortunately

I've got bluebubbles working and only missing FaceTime really. I'm going to have to buy a cheap Mac mini or something tho bc I need to use my MBP for work and can't keep it running my bluebubbles server all the time. I do like spotlight search on the iPhone but overall I really dont miss it. That said there's still no way I get rid of it. 😂

iPhone has way less things that can actually pull you back compared to years ago. Sure if you're knee deep in the ecosystem then you probably shouldn't leave anyway. But iMessage isn't important anymore now that RCS is a thing.

And then you can video call from pretty much any app.

I use a 1st gen iPad Pro 9.7" to interact with the handful of FT only peeps in my circle.

Hmm. It seems it's showing other app content, like YouTube. But Apple music doesn't work?! Any ideas?! It was showing before.

Unfortunately not everyehere, here in Czechia non of gsm providers launched RCS - tmobili, o2, vodafone, somehow magically randomly are “unable” to launch it blaming apple for that🤷‍♂️

I think it's true that a lot of iOS users will find some Android design choices jarring or inconsistent vs. iOS but I feel like when they say "Android is a buggy mess" they're really misattributing their unfamiliarity to bugginess. An iOS feature that's missing or implemented differently on Android is not the same as a bug.

So this is completely anecdotal evidence and borderline conspiracy, but I'm starting to think that 3rd party apps on iPhone are designed to push more notifications.

Reddit. Great example. On iOS I would probably get a suggested topic notification once every hour or two. I barely get them on Android. This is a GOOD THING! Reddit isn't the only app. I'm barely getting crappy unwanted notifications.

Is this real or am I going crazy?

I’m debating if I want to try this phone out as a second device. I haven’t had Android since 2012. I think that was the Galaxy S3 lol

LOL I had the inverse I had not lived in the US since 2011 or owned an IPhone for many years then when I got an IP14PM as a secondary device my spam doubled with mainly US stuff from State optical, Sams club etc etc , crazy
