Absolutely loving this phone so far. Paired it with the Galaxy 6 Classic that I scored for $170.

Only minor complaint so far is that battery has been just ok this weekend. I'm guessing that will improve as plus, people tend to forget that new phones drain faster because they're playing with it more. Haha.
Agreed on battery. Mine has been ok, not as good as my 16 PM

Also experiencing seemingly excessive battery drain, maybe it'll settle down with the next update. I initially used Smart Switch and then factory reset and set up as new, same deal. I turned off "show wallpaper on lock screen" since the AOD / lock screen seems to use the most battery per my battery stats. 17 minutes screen on time with apps, 30 mins overall, and 8% use.

IIRC yes; it'll allow you to download the music in your library but not stream anything else
That’s pretty nice, just login with your Apple account and you got your purchased music right there in your library ready to download? Can you showcase it? :)
That’s dope!

So I am having an issue with Android Auto.

Every time I try to connect my phone to AA on both my cars, I get the message in my phone notifications that AA is connected to my car, but my car is waiting for me to set it up on my phone, but that's not launching. The only way I got it to work on one car was to uninstall and reinstall AA. Problem is, if I try to connect to my second car, I still have the setup issue, and if I uninstall and reinstall, then the current car it's connected to will no longer be setup, so it would be an endless cycle.

Any idea what I can do to resolve?

It maybe best to use a forum specifically for your cars

However a few suggestions

1) On older cars sometimes AA still needs a wired connection although pairing is done via BT
2) Some cars have a soft reset of their sytem that resolves issues
3) Cars with UWB require more setting up because of profiles etc

At the simplest level is the phone and contacts working ? as this is not dependant on AA ?

I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on this one. Recently I got rid of all tech and kept only phone (15PM) and love it this way, but compared to Android, iOS is so limited in some things that it really pisses me off..
I can still get all the pre order bonuses with my local store (so tempting) and even though it is not much of a difference between what I have now, the increased “freedom” of Android will make my life easier I think.
However I am quite into privacy and security, and can’t see a way to make and Android phone as secure as what I have with my iPhone. Can someone give me tips on this?
Does AdGuard work as well on Android?
Is it safe to install apps from Revanced?
What are my options to make Google spying on me less?

Really temptwd this time but unfortunately pricing here in czechia not quite good, will either wait for some mega sale or buy ip 16 plus

Yeah, this Android Auto issue is kind of a deal breaker for me. I rely on Navigation in both cars and would prefer to have it on my screen and not be holding my phone with one hand.

I've been doing research and I'm not seeing a fix, so I really hope there's an Android Auto update that fixes this asap.

Did you have issues when you had an S23 ?

As I noted before some dedicated chat groups for your car is more likely to have a fix or your dealer if you don't have auto updates

I'm surprised your car does not have a native map app, personally I do not use CP or AA but they are there if I need them ever :)

No I didn't. It connected to both cars automatically, but I have done some more research other than this thread and it is unknown issue with the S25 Series. And yeah my car came with maps many years ago but it's awful compared to Google Maps.

I want to keep this phone so I'm going to just hope a fix happens at some point and keep Android auto on the car that I drive the most.

Are there any other phones in any of the cars connected to AA? I'm thinking no but just want to confirm. When you go into AA settings and see your connected vehicles is there any time where you see both cars under the settings?

No, because the one that I also want to connect to is really the only one I drive. My wife and I share the bigger Honda. And I actually cleared all data from the Android Auto app. So what happens is if I connect to one car, which is our Honda, then I try to connect to my Mazda, the only solution to get it to actually launch is to uninstall and reinstall the app. But then that clears out the data on the Honda. So the next time I would want to connect to that I would have to do the same thing. LOL.

Hopefully that makes sense!

Maybe to test forget all the phones on the Honda hopefully wifey won't be upset lol, connect your phone to the Honda first and then see if anything changes when you try to go into the Mazda. I'm thinking you also did forget phone on Mazda

Yeah I did all that as well! My wife also got an S25 and had the same issue, so I think it's just an update that Android auto needs to make on their app. Or maybe even Samsung fix on their side.
