@Technerd108 - I just installed the FloLabs antiglare glass screen protector. Wow! Simple and quick install, no bubbles or dust, and no graininess like all of the other antiglare protectors have. No issues with FPS. It's similar to the actual screen of the S25U, amazing.
I am so happy it worked out well for you!!

I felt the same way on my s24u!!

Hope it serves you well for a long time!!

So this is completely anecdotal evidence and borderline conspiracy, but I'm starting to think that 3rd party apps on iPhone are designed to push more notifications.

Reddit. Great example. On iOS I would probably get a suggested topic notification once every hour or two. I barely get them on Android. This is a GOOD THING! Reddit isn't the only app. I'm barely getting crappy unwanted notifications.

Is this real or am I going crazy?
This isn't my experience. I keep getting (both on Pixel and S25) notifications because I have "shown interest" in it. It's got to the point where I have just turned all notifications off for the app across all devices. It's definitely a Reddit, thing,

S25U Just landed and set up

Nova Launcher ss per the norm. Kept the apps basic for now as will run this as my work mobile to get used to it etc

As per the usual the build quality is superb and the screen is stunning. The blue is a gorgeous colour too

Spigen screen protector installed and it's in the Spigen Parallax Magsafe case for now

Just discovered that if you hold the power button and speak, if you're using the Samsung keyboard, then it translates your voice to text.
Absolute game changer for me. Who needs to type! 😁.

just tried it, and that is actually brilliant! thanks for the tip! I wonder how many other things there are on this phone I'll never know about

The list is likely endless. But things like that tip are the little touches that make it difficult when you move to another device that doesn't have it! V cool feature!

Whenever I carried an iPhone side by side with an Android, I would get the same amount of Reddit notifications. The only issue was that I would get very delayed notifications or missing (critical) notifications for many Android apps. This issue persisted when I tried out the S24U and all other Androids. I would be getting critical emails and notifications from news apps on my iPhones while the Android just did not notify me or notified me a half hour or more after my iPhone did.

So, I don’t think apps are pushing out less notifications on Android—I think they’re just not sending some out because of the crazy deep sleep function on Android; disabling that function never solved the issue for me.

It’s a persistent problem that’s been going on for years (just check out Android/Google/etc. subreddits). It’s why I can never main an Android phone, sadly.

So at this point the last thing holding me to an iPhone is Apple Books, the app is so polished and feels good that I just can’t let go. Can someone recommend me good Android alternative?
I might wait for S26U but still, don’t want to be tied to any ecosystem, and I only have phone right now and I plan to keep it that way.

Google Books / Amazon Kindle

I find both superb and use them on my iPad

Does anyone know if there's a setting to stop the camera using the last used setting? I just want to open the camera app and it be back on the 1x lens but it remembers if I have zoomed or used the selfie camera and it is the most useless feature ever!

I've tried to look in camera settings under "settings to keep" but it just asks about filters or remembering if you were in video mode?

Kindle - not sure if you can do this on Apple Books(I have never used AppleBooks), but the Libby app lets you check out books through your local library and it’ll send the book to your kindle.

Question to you guys, I am right now on a 15 PM - wondering how I can transfer my iTunes library to the s25 ultra (if I would make the switch) , important to notice is that I don't have a Mac/PC only my 15 PM in my hands.
Any working hints for that?
Appreciate it much!

I'm right around the close of my return window but keeping this time (big step for me). Anyone still on the fence or returning their S25 Ultra? At a minimum it will be the best backup/2nd device that money can buy. haha

Absolutely loving this phone so far. Paired it with the Galaxy 6 Classic that I scored for $170.

Only minor complaint so far is that battery has been just ok this weekend. I'm guessing that will improve as plus, people tend to forget that new phones drain faster because they're playing with it more. Haha.
