My S24U was great, but the screen got way more dirty and grimy than my new S25U.Yes, it's a lot better than my late S24U .

I remember when I canceled Apple Music last year I couldn't access my library at all. Even albums that I owned outside of Apple Music and imported into my Apple Music library. I was livid. I should've been able to access my own music that I imported. That's interesting! I'll check it out. I will say that Spotify does seem the most compatible with Samsung as well as the Alexa devices in my house, and it works great with Gemini. I'll probably still have Apple Music installed since I have the family plan AND I heard Apple deletes your library if you cancel your Apple Music account after a certain amount of time. Seriously, F them for doing that too.
Stories like that actually make me feel better about my decision to leave Apple. Talk about anti consumer.I remember when I canceled Apple Music last year I couldn't access my library at all. Unrelated note- if you are clumsy don't buy the Pitaka case. It looks and feels incredible but it's too thin. My wife dropped my S25U from about 3 feet onto concrete. Amazingly the case and phone are both fine and spotless, RIP my Zagg screen protector. Going into BB tomorrow to get it replaced. Sucks since I got this one on perfectly even and zero dust specks! I guess the case did its job, but it isn't slam boy certified. Must've hit the ground at the perfect angle for the screen protector to take the brunt of the fall, luckily.
I'd switch my primary number to my ZF6 if Samsung had a decent passwords app! I'm so darn spoilt with the Apple's Pwd app, Notes appand faceID ( the latter I can do without ) and that's what's kept me tethered to the iPhone!I think I just figured out the Apple pull that you guys were talking about in the morning yesterday. With Android you have so many options when it comes to tweaking your device the way you want. Yesterday I had a lot of fun with it and probably used about 5 different icon packs, wallpapers, configurations just to try things out and by the end of the day, I was tired by it and suddenly had the feeling that with the iPhone, I would just set my configuration and not think about it. Suddenly I felt the pull and even started looking for deals.
So I think I figured this whole thing out on a psychological level. As humans, the feeling of being locked in and having things chosen for you provides a feeling of comfort. Yes, the brand has something to do with it too of course but my overwhelming feeling was one of being overwhelmed by the end of the day and feeling like I just need to calm down. The ironic part of all of it is that you can do the same thing on Android. Set your configuration and stick with it.
So this is why I think so many people that switch struggle over the first couple of months. They're given choice and their brain is wired to resist it.
I’ve re-subscribed to Apple Music after 6 months of inactivity, and all of my library was there.Stories like that actually make me feel better about my decision to leave Apple. Talk about anti consumer.
Usually Google/Samsung does that for me if I remember correctly. When I switched, probably over 75% of my apps had my password saved already. The other 25% was annoying though.I'd switch my primary number to my ZF6 if Samsung had a decent passwords app! I've tried many pwd apps (paid subscriptions and all ) but nothing, AFAIK, is as seamless and unobtrusive as Apple's iteration!
Including songs you uploaded on your own?I’ve re-subscribed to Apple Music after 6 months of inactivity, and all of my library was there.
Yes, I actually wanted to get rid of them, so I had to delete them one by one manually.Including songs you uploaded on your own?

I should've elaborated, all my music was there when I re-subscribed. Unless I did it wrong, there was no way for me to access *my* music that I uploaded while I wasn't subscribed.I’ve re-subscribed to Apple Music after 6 months of inactivity, and all of my library was there.
Glad you're liking it. I'm going on 1 month tomorrow. Shout out to whoever it was that said "you won't last 2 weeks"!So that's a week with the S25 Ultra and it's tremendous, the only differences of note for me between the S25 ultra and my old S24 ultra is the slightly better battery life and one ui 7.
Everything else in daily operation feels the same only the S25 Ultra is immediate, whether that's the chipset or one ui 7 this is one blazing fast phone.
I do prefer the squared off S24 Ultra look though.
I have also noticed this. I think it's because Apple's implementation of AAC is better than Google's.Sound quality for Music - I've tried all of the music apps, and different EQ settings, and I still haven't found a setting that can give close to the iPhone with Apple Music and Airpod Pro 2. Not sure if there's a sound setting that you all use, but no matter what setting I use, the highs actually hurt my ears. I'm going to mess around with some custom settings and see if I can find a sweet spot.
Samsung Wallet works VERY well system wide across ALL apps 1st or 3rd party and all in between securely!I'd switch my primary number to my ZF6 if Samsung had a decent passwords app! I don’t think it’s that deep. It’s what @aggie99 mentioned, about the ecosystem. And the lock-in features (iMessage, AirDrop and FaceTime) that Apple provides the user. And once the user buys the iPhone… then get some AirPods, next up.. Apple Watch. The iPhone becomes the hub… the more you feed into that hub, it’s tough to break away from.
And most folks don’t like change, that’s where the comfort level comes in… it is what it is.
What headphones are you using? Now, as Floss would say, let's talk about the things I don't like. Haha.
Battery - hate to say it, but this area has been a bit overwhelming. When my old 15 Pro Max was new, I was pulling close to 10 hours SOT. On the S25 Ultra, I'm getting between 7-8. One positive trade off is that the 45w charging is blazing fast. So at least if I'm in a pickle, it'll charge up super fast compared to iPhones.

Icon Theming - As crazy as it sounds, I actually like the way Apple can theme icons to all change color to match the wallpaper. Obviously this phone has this but only about half of the icons change.
I believe these are my only real gripes. I didn't include Live Activity because Samsung just launched this and I expect it to improve. The only thing that could be a deal breaker is the 2nd bullet point regarding sound but I just think I need to find the right sweet spot.
The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.What headphones are you using?
Yeah, that does sound crazy. From a simplistic approach, I can see how you come to that conclusion… Apple method is effortless and easy.Icon Theming - As crazy as it sounds, I actually like the way Apple can theme icons to all change color to match the wallpaper. Yeah, that is strange. I have mine set to Bass boost… have you updated them recently? Also, any clue why I can't edit the 2 lower frequencies?
For the theming part, for me it's the fact that I actually love matching the icons to the wallpaper, one color, but it's so inconsistent because not every icon changes. You can obviously download other icon packs, and then theme them individually, but I'm already kind of sick of doing that to the point where I've just been sticking with stock icons or the couple icon packs that I spent some time on tweaking.Yeah, that does sound crazy. But Android/Galaxy… that’s a different level of icon theming since we can change it completely.
Yeah, that is strange. I have mine set to Bass boost… have you updated them recently?
Completely understand. I have a iPad.. I just keep my icons dark, I don’t do the tint option… maybe I should try it more. For the theming part, for me it's the fact that I actually love matching the icons to the wallpaper, one color, but it's so inconsistent because not every icon changes. My guess is to do a reset… because I’m confused as well. And for the sound, even when I change it to custom, those 2 lower frequencies are greyed out. So confused as to why.
I figured it out. You need your Galaxy Buds plugged in for those two lower frequencies to show. HahaCompletely understand. I have a iPad.. I just keep my icons dark, I don’t do the tint option… maybe I should try it more.
Personally, I prefer using icon packs (keep 10 in the rotation)… admittedly tweaking missing icons can be annoying.

Cool. I just picked up a pair of the buds 3, happy enough with them. I don't like the ones you have to poke in your ear, I find they never stay in with me and always fall out!The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
My issue with Samsung Wallet is that Samsung Pay doesn't work in a lot of apps.Samsung Wallet works VERY well system wide across ALL apps 1st or 3rd party and all in between securely!
Furthermore you can choose to have Chrome or Firefox as password handlers across the system as well. All you needed to do was use any leading website ai to inquire and get this specific answer in 1 quarter the time I typed this at 70 wpm.
Why is it today people on the internet haven't surpassed the advances of basic Google internet search yet? nor even tried?
