If I keep mine I'll be leasing it for a year at 1k. Still a fortune, but I'm not making the full commitment. I believe Fold 3 will be the one I'd potentially invest in.
I'm trying it out, but unless it blows my mind and is a game changer I'll be sending it back. All in all with discounts and selling the watch and buds bundle along with my S20 plus, it'll cost me about $800.

looks like major delays for people in the uk with some not getting it until early october

Still struggling to find cases...only seen samsung official ones at the moment.
EE can’t confirm when mine will arrive and yeah i have seen some saying 2nd October. Will see though...no rush here as i have my note 20 ultra.
ditto with the cases i'm hoping more appear now the phone is starting to get to customers samsung looks nice but from reviews its very basic worth around 30 not 80.
Spigen look good but the ones I’ve seen not available in UK yet...the Spigen covers all the way around the hinge.
think i've seen late october or november for spigen cases hopefully thats just an estimate and they will arrive alot sooner i can manage without a case for maybe a week or two i prefer the leather cases feels more premium i kinda like the clear as i don't want to hide the phone away with a chunky case.
Not compulsory, I do not use split KB on my V1That split keyboard is gonna take some getting used to when in tablet mode
only on full re-boot does it come up with split KB for password, then reverts to my preference.

There aren’t any real options other than Samsung official.
The lack of a silicone case really bothers me. I strongly prefer it over leather and I don’t like hard plastic cases. Hell I can’t even find a silicone case for the Fold 1.0.
The lack of options at launch is very frustrating.

Man, a case on this form factor would take away the slick hands-on feel of the thing & satisfaction you get from folding/unfolding the device. I understand the need to protect such an expensive phone, but if ever there was a device you wanted the tactile feel of, it’d be this one.
