So I ended up just taking off that screen protector, there was some dust (sand?) particles getting into those bubbles and I was afraid they would scratch the display. (I already have an appointment with a service center and they are going to install a new one next week when it comes in), and I have to say wow, feels and looks sooo much better. I also went ahead and applied an oiliphobic spray and now I don't know if I can go back to that thin, rubbery, hazy, screen protector.

Oleophobic spray? Never heard of it, have a link? That would be something I'd definitely want, I wonder if it would work on the PET screen protector. Man every day I want to take the screen protector off, not because of feel or functionality because it actually feels and functions really well. But mainly because of the freaking #)()#*_)@*_& fingerprints on it.

There were some on reddit that removed the display protector as well. A couple noticed some drying and discoloration after a few days just an FYI....
You have a link? I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. Would like to see more information about that.

Just do a search on amazon, they have plenty. I did add it when I still had the screen protector on, but didn't do as well of a job as it's doing now with no screen protector.

Can apply via Samsung Members post purchase apparently

I had read this also right on Samsung's policies, and was quoted this from a chat rep. But I cannot find it in my members app, even after following the instructions on Samsung's site. Conspiracists on reddit claim this is intentional on Samsung's part. I can't even get Verizon insurance as they say it has to be a new line of service for a BYOD device, or I have to wait for an open enrollment period.

what did you think of the aramid case ?
This seems to be the best angle

Blimey - that looks worse than the Switch kick stand. And that's very unstable. Wouldn't you think they'd have made it a bit sturdier!

Just like the Switch, I probably wouldn't use the kickstand really ever, but using it to watch a video while in the kitchen or something could be useful.

This front display is more usable than I thought...glad all my pages on main display convert on the front display

Espn app not working for some reason...ugh

Did you use smart switch to bring your apps over? I had to uninstall three apps (including ESPN) and reinstall them again, and they worked fine after that.

No kickstand is more horrible than the Switch.

Couldn't grab the Fold off my colleague yesterday but paid him this morning and will be picking it up shortly. Have a day off today so will spend some time testing this "future" out.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it handles day to day tasks mostly. The bigger screen stuff it will obviously eat up, but quickly replying to WhatsApps, posting to social media, reading or typing a quick email will be the real test. As that outside screen does look quite thin.
I'm coming from a 21:9 screen though so I could be more ready for it than someone coming from something plumper. :p

What has shocked me was how use able the front display is.. For quick access and texts it's ideal. Even apps are fine... Very impressed so far and itd great having a SD865+ chip... Can already tell the difference battery wise certainly standby wise

Yesterday, at BestBuy, I had a chance to check out the Fold Z 2. Wow! The whole device feels very sturdy. The outside screen while narrow is still very usable. The inside screen is great. The crease does not bother me at all. What a difference a second iteration makes.

At present, it is outside my budget. However, in 1-2 years, I will get one. Hopefully, it will have s pen support? Even if it doesn't, I will get it (I'll probably have an s pen phone, also).

Enjoy your Folds!
