might even get more than what Samsung is charging if you can get a bidding war going
With my penchant for shiney new things, I can see me tempted to open it. Unless he already did to have a peruse at. Not bothered either way but i wouldn't mind at least turning it on as I never experienced the original in a store or anything.
My flip was the closest to the fold I guess and I loved that.

I asked if he opened it. He said he's cut the seal and then seen plastic all over the phone so just left it. He wanted to fold it for himself lol but said he'd leave it now.
So it's already open!
You can still sell it as open-box but never used. Better than taking off the plastic now and playing with it.

Of it's already open, you might as well set it up and use it for bit. Even open box/used it'll net you more than the $1,000 your paying for it.
Just look at it as your getting paid a couple hundred to use it for a bit.
I think if he's seriously considering keeping it, then fine. But if he has no intention to, then he might as well sell it for more money and not tinker with it.
My delivery is 13.00 to 1400 but sadly will have to wait til 18.30 to use it sadly
Depends. It would probably cost him $500 in profits to use it for a bit (depending on how long he uses it for and if he scuffs it). So the question is if it's worth it to him to give up some of those profits to use it for a while. Either way, he only paid $1,000, so unless he really scratches the heck out of it, hell be making money either way.
not got a time yet but its with dpd now and going to the local depot will be delivered wednesday probably by the time i get up in the morning i'll know.
Have to start thinking about cases but no rush i've seen afew more appear on amazon but most aren't available until mid october might end up getting the samsung case i'll know more when i get to handle the fold tomorrow.
Yeah just Hardly any cases basically makes you buy the expensive Samsung ones which I obviously ordered both
i hardly ever take the phone out of the case most of the time the phone never leaves its case until i'm selling but it has to good quality its a 1.8k phone you want something abit special i do tend to go for leather cases so samsung will probably be the one.
Tbh I've hardly left the house since march haha. Lockdown life. I work at home full time, and we do online shopping. The only time we go out is to walk the dog which I don't take my phone out my pocket for and to nip to the local shop if we are out of anything like bread or milk.
So unlikely (he says lol) that I will damage it by having a play with it when I collect it.
Who knows, I may even like it that much I keep it. Doubtful given my thoughts on the form factor but we will see.
...and so the rationalization starts. Really, I'm just going to take a peek at it... turns into: well maybe I can use it while I'm at the park... then eventually it becomes more of a daily driver... well I only payed half price for it.
You do realize we are all a bunch of enablers on here, the worst place you could go if you want to sell that phone.
Lol I really don't need any encouragement from anyone. I'm a tech nerd. Of course I'm going to want to have a peak. But I will not be taking it outside as I do intend to sell it on so the last thing I want to do is damage the thing.
But I'd be foolish not to have a look at it when I've never held a Fold before. With everyone saying this is the future I want to check that out for myself.
