More info: I just plugged the new revision in again. This time into slot 4 and this time it negotiated a 5GT/s link speed, but the protocol still showed under storage as SATA. It tests now slightly faster than my first revision. I don't get the SATA/PCI protocol difference bit? **Actually, I just plugged the old one in and it shows as SATA under storage as well.
