Which test photo?

Okay you also have a brighter top than bottom. I see this on every phone. Top or bottom is brighter than the other side. Don’t know why 😁
You see it if you put brightness to 100% with 100% white photo and hold the phone in landscape mode.

But it seems that the G9P has the better white uniformity in the 15 Pro Max.
I haven’t observed this globally. I have had a few G9P’s and they all had pink shift issues on either at the top, bottom, right, or left (or combination thereof) of the screen. Admittedly, my last G9P unit was much better, and mostly uniform during most conditions except under low brightness night conditions, where top half to bottom half showed a difference.
I will also say that I’ve had some bad G9N units too.

I think that the black hole in the notch play some tricks in the eyes when you check a full white display. So it’s hard to say if one portion is brighter than the other.

It may be but who cares, in the everyday use this is barely -if not - noticeable.
Only the 15 Pro Maxes have so many ****** screens. The normal 15 Pros are better ..
This 100% matches my findings. It’s rare a bad 15 pro screen, on the other side it’s rare a good 15 pro max screen 😂😭

Guys, how can you comment my screen? Got my 15PM yesterday, a couple of hours later while reading noticed that the right side is more pink/red than the left side. The display is G9P. Night shift and TT on, brightness 10-15%.
Would you try to replace it? I’m in Europe.

The right hand side looks noticeably warmer, personally I would return it. If something is that noticeable it will always bother you.

I have checked so many 15 Pro Maxes. They all have a different bottom to top white uniform. Check it with 5% brightness TT/NightShift on, go to settings with White Mode, hold your phone landscape mode and now scroll up and down and follow with your eyes. You can see it will change the display Color from top bottom. 👀

Did you use a 100% white picture?

If it’s easy to exchange do it.
If you can live with it keep it.
Your screen is not bad but also not a unicorn.
It looks like only the top right side next to the Dynamic Island is a little bit darker. This is ok …

How do you think my screen quality came out?
(LG GH series )

Only when I turn it sideways too much, the screen colour shifts to yellow. Screen protector is installed, maybe it may be affecting it

No problem at normal angles. No yellowish image

No problem at normal angles. When held close to zero, the colour shifts to a very slight sepia tone.

Samsun panels are shifting to bluish tone in normal conditions, my screen looks more natural.

I don't know if a samsung screen is better or lg is better

Do you think it's better to find a screen with a samsung panel or be grateful with what you have? :)

I have a 15 pro and I’m not sure which panel I have but I have off axis shift at very minimal angles. It drives me crazy and I think I’m going to do an express replacement.

My uniformity looks good in 15 pro max but the color cast is more yellow compared to my 14 pro . I have to turn off True Tone. Wondering those upgraded from 14 pro see similar? Love the size coming back from reg pro but the color cast is a bummer!

Always turn off True Tone (which should be called Yellow Tone), and use the Color Filters feature (Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Color Filters) to adjust to taste. I've been doing this since the iPhone 8 to get rid of the color cast. Works fine.

In Color Filters, select the Color Tint option (ignore the other silly options), and then set the Intensity slider all the way to the left. Then use the Hue slider until the white text in the Color Filters screen looks white. (Ignore the crayons.) For me, that's about three quarters of the way to the right. Color cast gone--and consistent color throughout the day.
