I ordered iPhone XS Space Gray 256GB--I was waffling for a several days between the XS and the XS Max--on Monday 17 September 2018 at 5:30p.
I just got a notification that my credit card has been charged and my order is now preparing to ship. Original delivery date on order receipt: "Delivers: Oct 1-Oct 8 via Standard Delivery."

looks like my Sprint 64gb Xs Max Gold was in this most recent shipped batch as well, still no UPS information.
Same here about the UPS info. Guess I will have something to look forward to when I wake up tomorrow. (Not saying I won’t otherwise. Lol)
I was able to locate shipping information on UPS using my phone number. However, I still haven't received anything from Apple.
When you search by phone number, did you use area code? Add a 1 in front?
Got an email from Apple that the phone shipped...
9/16 6:50PM EST - ordered, estimated delivery date of 10/1 - 10/8
9/20 8AM EST - checked that the status changed to "preparing for shipment"
9/21 11:35PM EST - received email from Apple that the phone has been "shipped", delivery date of 9/28
Got a tracking number from Apple for UPS but it doesn't show up on UPS site and my phone as reference number also doesn't work. Hoping it works tomorrow and that the delivery date (hopefully) is also for Monday-Tuesday range, lol. This is a happy surprise.

Update: UPS tracking now works and is scheduled delivery for Tuesday
So happy it’s coming a lot earlier than estimated!

So during the iPhone 7+ launch my phone made it to my UPS station a few hours after the truck went out on launch day day to a Typhoon. When my UPS dude came with my other deliveries I asked him if I would get it Saturday. He told me not where I live (I'm further out) but gave me the number for the UPS CC so I could call and pick it up on Saturday. They weren't open so I had to call this person and have him bring it out to me. I did that since I had a meeting in Richmond that day anyway.
. It pays to know your UPS dude!
The charge for my first monthly payment hit my credit card earlier this morning, so that should represent completion of all required payments. Plus my IUP return kit already shipped as well. Starting to think it might actually show up sometime next week!.
Also noticed something interesting. If I track the shipment by the Reference number method it says:
Scheduled Delivery:
Monday, 09/24/2018 , By End of Day
But if I track it by the tracking number in my email from Apple it says:

Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later.

UPS delivery information is usually accurate, you probably will have your phone on Monday
First time in since 4 I won’t have on on launch day. If I wasn’t in the 1-up program I may have tried BB or Att. Oh well. Stuck in ZZ with a Monday “tentative”. I knew I wanted a plus size phone as soon as I got the X. Hoping for a Friday miracle, but no such luck. Monday doesn’t sound too bad, I just hope it makes it by then. Whining over! Complaining over. On the bright side I get to track for 3 more days
Hiii new here. Ordered my Xs 256 gold at 6am local time on day 9.14. For pick up. Just got an email stating that my order would not be ready for check in time due to logistical issues. Anyone ever got tht? I actually arranged it so that my husband whose travelling wld b to collect
