Other Sept 28 - Oct 5 Delivery Dates

I had the tracking for Monday delivery but for some reason apple now has this changed to next Friday and UPS is showing nothing. I am sure it’s perhaps the bug that macrumors was reporting for today’s deliveries.

I have the same thing. Mine is being sent to my parent's home in another state. The earliest I'll get my hands on mine will be Thursday. Right now Apple says it will be delivered 9/28 but UPS says nothing.
 
Yes, mine now shows a yellow exclamation point on calendar view. It seems once in UPS’ hands they could figure out a delivery date. Not sure why they can’t give a firm date at this point. Hopefully, just a glitch in the Matrix.

I think UPS systems are hosed. This morning (I'm overseas so 7+ hours from ET) I received an email that said my phone was in Louisville awaiting a clearance scan. The date was Monday for delivery. When I go to their website it doesn't show the Louisville scan and now says information not available for Scheduled delivery. I just want to change it so it's held at CC until I get back from vacation next Wednesday. I was looking forward to playing with my new toy before heading back to work on Monday :( .

Same here. Mine has been sitting at “The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release“ for almost 24 hours.

Try tracking it by reference number using your phone number. Mine said the same thing as yours did until i tracked by phone number, and it shows delivery Monday.
 
Woke to a nice email from Apple saying mine has shipped. UPS is showing a delivery by end of day Tuesday 9/25.

I ordered a 256 Max Space Gray Verizon around 10:30AM 9/14.

View attachment 785829 So I checked by reference number and this is what is showing up.(been like this for 24hrs or so)On the calendar it has a Tenetive date of 9/24. What I don’t understand is the dates, customs at 1:16pm on 9/20 but arrived in ZZ 9/21 12:30am? Departed ZZ 9/20 at 11:00pm, As you can see.
The flight info is good to know if it is the flight our packages are on..anyway to verify? Or all we still doing the hurry up and wait thing? Lol

That's international dateline issues. You will probably be on the Monday delivery wagon. They generally do not do Saturday deliveries. There have been a few exceptions - but I would venture to say 99% of the deliveries are Monday-Friday.
 
So the awaiting clearance and hold for pickup just showed up in the last 30 minutes, but I requested the hold for pickup over 24 hours ago. I’m so confused.

Quite interesting to see all this. I can only imagine how many phones that UPS is ferrying across the ocean and through airports. I saw quite a few Fed EX and UPS trucks on the freeways this morning on my way to work (I live very close to the Ontario airport in California).

I think I'm going to make it a point not to check tracking over the weekend so I can enjoy my weekend and my last few days with my 8+. That and the UPS tracking sites seem to be glitching a lot.

We'll be getting it early next week for sure. Waiting till next week to miss the lines, traffic, parking, etc...? Priceless imo. :p

It is probably going to “arrive” at ZZ again in a few hours. Most of us with a Monday delivery date departed ZZ and then arrived again. the scans show an hour and a half difference but the arrival showed up about 8 hours later on my tracking
 
Don’t know if anyone is aware but I just read a article by Appleinsider about UPS and it has been said that it’s a customs issue and or a problem with the tracking system. People are complaining on Twitter about it. So that could explain why it seems like nothing is moving and delivery dates are in limbo..the article was posted 12 hours ago. So we are not alone...even some who are supposed to get there xs Max’s today have had date moved back.

Left ZZ at 10:33PM Local Time, Tuesday delivery. Was in customs at 9:24PM Local Time. That's a quick clearance process..
 
I cant see my tracking information anymore.
