You mean there was no origin scan from China for you?

Correct. The origin is Fort Worth Texas. I’ll post a screenshot. One moment.

Edit: here is the photo.

This is the first shipment I've seen going through Fedex and not UPS.
Seems like you're in for a happy weekend, congratulations :)

Mine is showing Oct 1st - 7th..... I am hoping I start to see movement, early next week!?!?!
I'm guessing you might see something by Friday. The 9/28 batch has started seeing movement since yesterday - which is about 3 days from when the previous batch saw updates.

fingers crossed! I was debating on canceling and trying my luck at the stores, but I think I can hold off on that this year and wait like a normal person.

But I dont think he ordered it through apple.
Yeah I searched Fedex, people who ordered through Xfinity and Verizon have Fedex shipments. Apple.com is only through UPS. So gotta wait till something shows up on tracking there.

I’ve ordered from Apple.com directly and it has always was delivered by FedEx...just sayin.

Just got a pending charge from Apple for the tax! Received my confirmation at noon. iUP 256GB SG Xs Max, Verizon.

Edit: still in progress on the website. Changed to preparing to ship at 2:57pm

Apple uses FedEx for accessories, but always UPS for launch time phones.
I've had accessories come from FedEx and OnTrac here in California from Apple. Apple seems to ship from Rialto CA about 45 miles away from me. They must have a warehouse there. But, I received my new Apple leather case yesterday from UPS.

Edit: status changed! Preparing to ship!
Edit; status changed! Shipped! Also the tracking number isn’t showing up in the system so I don’t have any idea where my phone is and the email sayin it’s shipped, has a delivery date of the 28th. :apple: What’s going on???
Update: So apparently the phone isn’t in possession of UPS yet, since there isn’t a origin scan...so the phone is in shipping limbo I guess.

UPS won the contract for phones a couple of years ago....the phone will come from UPS if you ordered from apple.com. The carriers use Fedex and all accessories from apple.com still come via Fedex but iPhones come via UPS....until they bid out the contract again....in a year or two would be my guess. Congrats!!
