Other Sept 28 - Oct 5 Delivery Dates

Can you include your order date/time. My 10 PM CST seems so far off!
 
where are you seeing preparing to ship? mine says :

your order is being prepared for shipment but its said that for a few days. my schedule delivery is Spt 28-oct 5 the line graph at bottom has always been on order in progress.

the ups think I tried with my phone number but it asks me shipping range and I not sure what to put there

OMG, same, the struggle is real. Someone with a noon order on Friday said theirs just updated, and my confirmation email came at noon:36, so I'm hoping for some movement today! I'm refreshing Apple, UPS, and my credit card like every minute.

This statement is false. You are implying that all accessories are always shipped via FedEx and I myself and a couple others in this thread have refuted it already.

I just received a package from UPS containing a case I ordered from Apple.

I have a case from Apple being delivered today via UPS.
 
I ordered 9/14 after work (approx 8pm Mountain Time), I've got 9/25-10/5 window.
64gb gold verizon, iPhone upgrade program.

CC been charged for taxes changed to preparing for shipment. No further update.

Some of you said you got a confirmation email? What is that? I was charger last night and my order now is showing PFS but I didn’t get any email from apple.

Don’t think you get an email before the phone actually ships. You can try to track by reference and see if you can find a packing slip for your order before they send you the info.

I keep trying tracking by reference and nothing so far. This is killing my hope to get it by friday. Last year I was on the second wave and still got it by launch day. I don’t think it’s happening this year.
 
You get a purchase confirmation email. I think that is what is referenced here.

Also, I am in the 28 Sept to 5 Oct tribe as well, even with ordering at 2:07 Central (12:07 Pacific). I think it may be because it was a 256G Max with ATT and not a SIM Free version of that phone.

I was finally billed early this morning, and the status changed to preparing to ship. But, nothing shows on the UPS site, which also may be due to the UPS WebSite issues that happened this morning, but then again who knows.

Seems like they’re may be no rhyme or reason.

same state here - hit my card this evening (I'm in Italy right now on vacation), moved to preparing for shipment this morning, but can't find it on UPS yet.

Ah, yes.. this could be what he is asking about.

I’ve been in preparing for shipment since this morning and I cant find my package via track by reference either. I’m just waiting paitently!
 
Hopefully we see movement tonight, while production may be 24/7 it doesn’t look like flights really start heading out of China for a couple of hours. So hopefully we will all see tracking show up tonight with departure scans.

You do get a email before it is shipped
 
I am also in the 9/28-10/5 delivery time. My credit card was charged last night and I’m in preparing for shipping. Hopefully I get it sooner!!!

Apple only sends an email shipping notice when the iPhone is already here in the US for example and ready for delivery. Typically this is a day before you receive it. They do not send any shipping notices when it leaves China.

Wrote this in another thread-sorry if you’ve read. I had my order done within minutes. Then I ordered a case. I came to Macrumors Apple order thread and posted how easy it was to order. I didn’t get an email until. 12:23. I posted on Macrumors at 12:15 with both orders complete. I sure as hell don’t know what happened. This has never happened in the last 8 years. First time on 1up, preapproved, couldn’t have been more than 3 minutes (12:04) that I ordered the phone. Weird. Went PFS last night. iPhone max 512 GB SG
