iPad Pro Share the results of your retail store Apple Pencil stock check

San Diego, CA - Otay Ranch and UTC La Jolla: Nothing. Didn't bother with Fashion Valley since they didn't even have the iPad Pro or Pencil on display on Friday. UTC was packed as usual too.
 
You can pre-order for one at Best Buy's website right now... Says available on November 26th (Saturday) for in-store pickup... but you can also trick it into shipping from warehouse once you add the item in the cart.

You can do this for both the Pencil and the Keyboard.

Just threw my order in now for both. Paid extra for tomorrow and Wednesday delivery. Seemed too good to be true, i guess we'll see.

Once you've checked for In-Store stock, you can add the item to your cart for "In Store Pickup". Once it's in your cart, you can choose between In-Store and Ship To Me from there (even though the purchase page didn't let you select the shipping option)

Edit: Looks like the normal "Add to Cart" option is back up for next day shipping... gogogogo!
 
Mine just went from ordered to "Preparing for Shipping" from best buy... just ordered 20 minutes ago.
 
I was looking for the Smart Keyboard on Best Buy... No longer available for shipping & Best Buy has quoted that it will be in stores for pick up on the 3rd.

I have to admit... I was skeptical if the iPad Pro would rejuvenate iPad sales, but the way the Pencil & Keyboard is being immediately back ordered... iPads are showing life.

I just ordered one from Best Buy. Keyboard Apple. Paid for one day shipping. It says it delivers 11/24. Yes. Just cancelled my staples order. I won't cancel my Apple order into I have it in hand.

Congrats! I was going back & forth whether to pay for the expedite shipping... And when I decided to go ahead and take the plunge... My chance was gone. Snooze I loose I guess..

Thanks. I was on it. It was cheaper than driving to Apple stores being told to get out. No keyboards. Lol now it's time to wait for the tracking number.
 
Everyone check your apple.com orders...mine just flipped to "Preparing for shipment" as of an hour ago. Also, if your apple order hasn't updated, check the BB website. They are now showing a ton of availability, starting on the 25th...if you select express shipping...an extra $20...

Yeah, true. I had even went out today to check... I was out. So, I figured why not. I even demoed it while I was there... I actually like it.

I do plan on taking my Smart Cover back in favor of the Smart Keyboard... But that's until I get the Smart Keyboard.

I've got 3 active orders for the Smart Keyboard ... Crazy ... Apple (Deliveres 12/7-14), Staples (Available by 11/25), and Best Buy (In Store Pickup 12/3) ....

Who knows which comes first .... had the Logi board, love the the backlight, hated the weight ... went to apple store again, loved the Smart Keyboard. I use the Keys-2-Go now which I actually love, however, when I'm bouncing from meeting to meeting smart keyboard just makes sense. When I travel I will likely still bring Keys-2-Go to sit back and type or bedside ... wish it was backlit ....

Get it !! I did the same thing. Just cancelled staples. Waiting to get a tracking number from Best Buy before I cancel Apple.
