First time poster, long time reader... anyways... Staples.com currently has 6 Pencils in stock for delivery by December 8! Just picked mine up!

Got it. Good luck to those who are looking to complete their Pro Experience. I finally have all my accessories. Pro,Pencil and Smart Keyboard.

The smart keyboard feels better than my surface pro 3 keyboard. You don't have the feeling of a kick stand cutting into your leg from the weight of the tablet. It can sit in your lap and balance pretty well . The light from the screen should give off enough light in a dark room to see the keyboard. I'm typing write now with the room lights off . To test it out. Apple has did it again. Another great product. With a terrible launch. LOL

I went into the Marlborugh MA BB and like we have all experienced, not a pencil in sight . I was asked if I would like to order one and I said "NO," I will wait for the one I already have on order with Apple. I was told that I could have the Pencil through BB by the 27th of this month. What? Really? How is that possible when Apple is quoting me the 5th of January.

Placed the BB order yesterday in store and low and behold the Apple Pencil arrived today. I am shocked. BB came through. I now have completed my IPad Pro experience. I have opted for an external Logitech IPad keyboard instead of the Create or Apple Keyboard. Didn't care for others.

Hope others have similiar luck.

I think the Silver / white iPP goes well with the Gray keyboard and white pencil. Gray can look good with all iPad Pro choices. Maybe next year Apple will offer more color options.

Nice! Yeah.. I'm sure Apple will provide more color options down the line. Especially for "Product Red." Only negative I have with the keyboard is that the keys are so far apart.

Hopefully next weekend I can pick one up.

I hope you get your keyboard soon.My type speed isn't the fastest. But I do like the feel of the keys. Since my hands are big. I'm comfortable with the spacing. i think you will be able to adjust with time.

I have found the spaces not be an issue for me at all. Within 5 minutes of typing on it, I am probably very close to my usual WPM's. It is honestly a fantastic keyboard for the thin-ness. The fact that it actually works on my lap (where I am typing now) is icing on the cake.

Apple should be ashamed of themselves for this iPad Pro and accessories roll out. I was going to purchase a Apple TV. I'm not in any rush now. Petty rollout. Petty attitudes. I'm a fanboy I buy most the stuff they put out. I got my Pro. But I feel bad for all the people still chasing theirs. Trying to get all accessories. Shameful.

I couldn't agree more. In the Apple Store. I thought the keyboard was fine. Now that I have it and have typed while keyboard on lap. I have no problems with the setup. Works great.

I was at the Towson, MD Apple Store and over heard someone ask an employee and he said they didn't have any, four or so people walked out. They might as well put a sign up to keep from wasting everyone's time. I heard the employee say that one person would come and buy a few saying they were for employees. Might be true but sounds like some BS excuse a scalper would use.

They had several units on display but only 2 had pencils, they all had a pencil holder integrated into the table. I wouldn't be surprised if they were stolen.

It's disappointing. Yesterday, there were a few surrounded by iPP.. Asking question and such. They asked about the pencils & keyboards... Employees said they didn't have any in stock, but could order online.

Seeing a 4-5 week wait time for these accessories... Puts employees in a bind. Trying to sell customers on the iPP yet the two most compelling reasons aren't available.

I don't think they care. Due to the popularity of Apple Stores these days, many of the employees there have become rude, or fake, anyway not solving any problem nor offering any stock for purchase.

The iPP isn't a device that interest me personally but I can't believe the pencil isn't something that comes shipped in the box! I couldn't imagine owning one or even wanting one and saying "oh that pencil feature? Not interested". MAYBE if it had 3D Touch I could understand it...MAYBE...

Apples cash grab and decisions are getting a little ridiculous in my opinion. 16gb mobile devices with 4K recording, 4K iMacs with 5200 RPM HDDs, MacBook with 1 USB C port only and no adapters in the box or in stock, no remote.app support for the ATV4 OR Bluetooth keyboard, iPP with no pencil in the box or in stock, etc etc..

I think this comment has been posted in every "Launch product" thread I have ever read here. Just substitute the other product names.

Apple creates products that generate a lot of hype. Since the original iPhone at a minimum they have demoed the product when they barely had a handful of working (hopefully in the case of that first iPhone) and people line up to buy them and are disappointed when they can't keep up to demand. It seems to happen all the time. They get away with it and push the envelope harder next time.

The result of Apple losing focus, and Jony Ive getting too much power

I have not had a problem like this on a product launch before. I didn't purchase the original iPhone. My first iPhone was the 4s but I understand what you are saying. I just feel like it's getting worse. With the method of operations. Great products. If I place a preorder at :00 or on day of preorder. You need to honor that before you ship to retailers. As a consumers. That's all we ask. I'll pay for what I want. One port or no port. That is going to be the trend for all other device makers soon. Apple sets the trend. Make some of the products in America. Maybe we can get our devices quicker. Lol. This is a management problem. Not a store rep problem. I'm sure they are kept in the dark.
