Just tried physically calling the stores (3 of them) and 2 out of 3 are telling me about the Wacom stylus. I actually have a Wacom Bamboo fine line and it doesn't work with the pro. The one guy I spoke to though said he can't even order it through the store's system. The only hope I have is with Black Friday being around the corner, these stores are getting crazy amounts of shipments in. I'd be surprised if we see any today, but chances might be better next week. :-(

Actually, BB still works sometimes. Yesterday I was checking stores after failing placing my order on BB, the website told me it is available in Ohio. Holy s....
Went to the Apple Store in The Greene in SW Ohio here right at opening and they didn't have any. Went to a Best Buy in southern Dayton with no luck. Then I went to the Best Buy near my house and didn't see any. A salesman bothered me like they do and asked if they could help. I mentioned the Pencil and he didn't think they had any, then noticed the Apple rep and another salesman holding 2 Pencils in their hands. Turns out, one of those was for store-use, the other was fair game. They handed it to me, escorted me to the register to pay and I was good to go!
Memphis, but maybe they the looked and my frequent flyer milage and assumed Chicago was a safe bet
I made the rounds to two BB and the Apples store yesterday and no luck(all three checked inventory and the shipment they has for me). My sweet wife rant to the Apple store and BB this morning and same. Thursday, Apple store said they had a shelf fullSaw it on the news last night that guy with the sword at the Apple Store on 5th avenue NYC, holy cow.
WOOT. Finally got my Apple Pencil. Thank You Best Buy Florence, KY. I also should receive one Monday or Tuesday from BB. Off to cancel my Dec 18-24th on from Apple.
FYI stopped in the Apple store in Kenwood, Cincinnati, OH store. No Pencils or Keyboards. The specialist I talked to was surprised/didn't know about the new Apple watch charging stand from Apple that was on the self. I asked if they had any Pencils. He said no and ask some one who seem to be higher up the food chain as she walked by. She said no and they only got a few in the other day. She said the next shipment maybe on Tuesday. I said I didn't need one since I just picked my up from Best Buy. That surprised both of them that Best Buy had them. LOL

Interesting.. I tried the apple chat support and got a different answer then before. I asked if they could help me find one in the Pittsburgh area and got the response, "The Apple Pencil is in high demand, we aren't able to see the availability in stores at this time, but they are sold in stores and online. Due to them being in high demand though a lot can sell out quickly."
There is definitely one Apple Pencil in stock at Salem NH Apple Store because I just returned an extra unopened one. (Biz team bought two by mistake). No idea how long it'll be there. No keyboards or pencils there otherwise.

I asked a girl in shadyside apple store in the morning. She used her purchase device to check whether there were pencils available in this store. But the answer was no. She said they receive the shipment everyday nevertheless, they could not sure that pencil would be shipping in that package. Only thing she could tell me is that come tomorrow and see the availability.
They are actually holding them in some stores for customers. I went to south hills village yesterday morning and asked the staff if there were any keyboards or pencils. Initially she said no and then went in the back to check. After a few minutes she came out holding one stating that is was held for someone yesterday but they never came to get it so I walked out with it. Still looking for a keyboard they are nowhere to be found.
Barely got mine an hour ago at a BB a ways away from where I reside, but totally worth it... Suck my fungus filled toe Apple Store!!!
(*my toe is actually very healthy and clean,) but still Apple were total d-bags for some reason. Most employees were fine they obviously couldn't do much, it was more of the poor service and misinformation from the Apple agents on the phones and the higher ups.
Anyway, I can't wait to try this sucker out tonight.

Seriously, this is what annoyed me most... Apple Store employees, corporate, and every phone agent I spoke to said "no holds" and were not very polite about it either. It was like somehow my asking a simple question ruined their entire day. Lame to know that some stores do hold items but not mine.
Oh well, at-least Best Buy stepped up and I was fortunate to get one at all.

What state? I checked bb website and it said they had none
That sucks because I was just there about an hour earlier but may have missed the shipment. I think I'll stop by every day at that time on my way home from work.

Utah, but the site shows there are none for 250 miles. I feel due to the high amount of people looking that the tool isn't always accurate. The store I got mine from online, first said yes, then I refreshed and it said no... then I waited a while and refreshed and it popped up again. So I am not sure if all of the systems are all accurate or not.

I've seen a few eBay auctions in which the lister shows a picture with multiple pencils. These people are the worst.

He said they only get a few in and then they're gone. I asked when do they usually get the shipment and he said it varies through out the day.
They had no smart keyboards or even the Logitech keyboard case.
I had ordered my pencil through staples. They just charged my credit card Friday afternoon. I'm assuming it should ship soon.

Just scored a pencil at Best Buy. Feel like a junkie with a new fix. Unfortunately, my iPad hasn't arrived yet!
Staff at Best Buy were very patient, polite, and helpful. They even volunteered to check inventory of iPads in the region. No luck there unfortunately. At least now I can practice holding the pencil while I wait for the rest.
