iPad Pro Share the results of your retail store Apple Pencil stock check

I just checked union square in SF and they told me they had some this morning but they usually sell out within 20 minutes. Getting really sick of running all over the Bay Area looking for this thing. The guy at the store actually told me "just enjoy it for a while, enjoy the split screen! Come back in a month and you'll be able to get one then" ughh great thanks dude.
 
Well it popped up for pickup all of a sudden at a Best Buy store that's 40min each way. Not sure if it's worth that much time though.

Try the BestBuy website - I ordered a few hours ago, just got my shipping confirmation from UPS, delivers Monday.
 
So I saw this thread and immediately started checking BestBuy. Got lucky and the nearest store to me had some in stock for in-store pick-up. I picked up 2 thinking I'd want an extra, but I've decided to return it.

If anyone here would be willing to pay me my cost plus shipping, I could do that. Just let me know. I also don't know the best way to conduct such a transaction....Paypal? But fees...open to suggestions.

Also, yeah I'm new but have been following this site forever.

Just pickup mine from Bestbuy, CA Bloosom Hill. Saw only 2 or 3 left ready to be picked up. Asked the Rep about smart keyboard, and nothing in stock yet.

Now my daughter got a new painting board for her.

I just picked up the iPad Pro at Pioneer Place. The rep didn't know if they had Pencils. If they did, they are in back as there is no obvious place in front for them. I didn't press since I already had one.

Did pioneer place have the smart keyboard? I doubt it.
 
I feel like I've fallen and hit my head, or overdosed on crazypills. How is it that there are zero apple pencils for sale in all of Southwest OH?! None at best buy, none Cincinnati apple store... and I got a wonderfully detailed lecture from the Dayton store about how I shouldn't be calling their apple store to check stock because they're very busy and very important people and don't I know it's so much easier to just order online for pickup.

I feel like the entire country is playing a giant cruel joke on me to drive me mad.
 
Just had an apple employee check inventory for the majority of the stores in the east bay no luck. I'm not sure how accurate their systems are tho

Are you serious????? If ANYONE spoke like that to me I would march in and raise hell with the store manager. That is unacceptable. Always make note of the employee's name, and if they don't say who they are when they pick up the phone, then get it from them. They need to be held accountable.

Best Buy in Florence Kentucky has 9 left in store. Tried to get multiples to help out some others on here but they said they weren't even supposed to sell until tomorrow and it took convincing to get the one.

I thought I was the only one feeling like this. LOL
 
I just got an empty box shipment from Staples too....Just bubble wrap, packing slip and an ad...
 
So it's finally the weekend and I can check an Apple Store at opening time.

Have people had success doing this? Maybe sticking around for a bit for morning shipments to come in?

Only time I can muster during the week. Otherwise my online order is scheduled for dec 26-30 :(
