It seems this thread kinda dying, not many people sharing anything here anymore sadly!
I'm sharing my newest here, more at Facebook.com/makisworld
Have a good rest of weekend everyone!

You are ridiculous at doing cat eyes. This one and the black one you posted before this are incredible.

Are you using any custom brushes? Or have any custom settings on some of the stock brushes you're willing to share?

I use Procreate, and used a water brush and a pencil brush, to do those cats eyes, no special other tricks or special brushes.
I have some custom brushes for my other kind of drawings(abstracts), I took pictures of splashes and made custom brushes from them.

About cats drawings, I use water brush for back ground and basic colors of figure. Then add hairs on it. Eyes, also done with water brush and pencil brush, no custom brushes. My all cats drawings are all done like that way, so if you have Procreate on your iPad Pro, you already have everything I used to create those :)

PS. I'm glad finally some people restarted posting their drawings here! And I want to see more coming guys!

Thanks for the reply. Yes I use Procreate, just wanted to pick your brain on if you had any nice tips or brush settings that work well outside of their default settings.

One tip I find nice for pencil brushes is adjusting the Pressure Curve (not the pressure settings in each brush.)
It makes it so you don't need to put as much pressure to start seeing a pencil stroke. So it's way more natural to a real pencil.

Here is the quick video where I found this tip.

I really don't change any setting, all things I do change are brush size and opacity up and down, and I'm a Procreate newbie since last November!
So I don't have much technique on it, not using everything it has and it offers, but I love Procreate, that app is easy to use, I didin't need to learn much at start :)

Another thing I love about this app is it allows you to make your own brushes. I take picture, change it to PNG and switch colors, and create own brushes.
It takes some steps and kinda confusing at first time, but just need to use couple of other apps. If any of you interested, I'll show you how I do it.

I do agree this thread has seemed to slow down a little, I've been caught up in a bunch of things that have allowed me a bit less time for personal work but I'll be posting more drawings/paintings done solely with the iPad pro as I'm trying to get my head around the whole digital painting thing.

For anyone who shys away from posting their work in here because they think they're not good enough, just post! The best thing about threads like these is the group participation and seeing others progress, getting help from others etc. This is one of the best threads in the forum imo.

Keep up the good work everyone!

This is my favorite thread on MR! I finally have something that I'm not too embarrassed to share. I can't claim full credit for this, as I sketched the outline from a photograph, then painted in the rest. Unfortunately, I don't know where or who the photo came from, so I can't give proper credit. Used ProCreate.

Well I'm still nowhere near done with this. It's been a steep learning curve, being that I can't find any procreate tutorials on skin tones or portraits I've just kind of been making it up as I go along which has really extended the amount of time I've spent on it, but trial and error is often the best way to learn!

Well, you're showing potential but you'll have to work a bit harder on your technique.
(Haha, nice post, mdridwan47!).
Jokes aside I have to say theres some real talent displayed on this thread. Well done!

Haven't read all of thread, so pardon me if you've mentioned it before, but what app are you using? I love your works!

Hi. I'm happy to hear you like my art works, thank you :)
I mainly use Procreate. But I also often create my work with using some apps together as well, that quick work(latest one) was made by using three apps together. Assembly, TypeDrawing, and Procreate. I like Graphic, and iDrawPlus as well.
Each app has different kind of blushes, good at different things to do, strong points and weak points. So using some apps to complete one digital art work piece makes me having more way to work on, and I like it :)

That's very interesting to hear, thank you. It's obvious a lot of thought goes into even the "quick" works.

This thread is awesome. Is this something you can do on iPad Air or just the pro?

None of the apps used by people posting in here are specific to the pro, at least not to my knowledge. Procreate, astropad, Adobe sketch plus a ton of drawing apps are all available across the iPad range. All you need is a stylus, unless you want to draw with your fingers
