Mine says preparing for shipment. My UPS account says I have a shipment from AI and it’s on the way! Departed from Anchorage AK, US.
 
Stange that it is in still preparing for shipment while my tracking shows it’s already in Kentucky.

Yep its been like this every single preorders too. Then on Thursday before the launch day apple.com will change it to shipped

Not sure why, but that's always the way Apple does it. Won't actually show shipped until day before release, even though it shipped almost a week prior.
 
Anyone have experience with how long it takes UPS to update the shipping address when you submit a “hold for pickup?” I’m assuming right before it leaves for the final destination? Like Thursday?
 
I don't think any phones are in Kentucky. Customs is located overseas but shows a US location.
Mine shows Kentucky customs but has updates after that of going from China to Korea.

Mine's definitely in Louisville, KY :)

If anyone in Australia has a new item appearing in their Australia Post tracking app I think this is the iPhone delivered by Startrack. It starts with the similar 4 letters as another item I had delivered by Apple using Startrack - HESZ

Not Aussie but NZ, also had a delivery show up in my DHL app. Origin this time is Apple Australia in east creek. Usually it shows tracking history back to Foxconn in China.

Cool! Yeah this says East Creek too. Totally different this time because it usually shows tracking history for China too and delivery by DHL.
 
Just like all of you who ordered shortly after orders went live, mine (14 Pro 1TB Purple) is in Louisville, and it’s been there since yesterday (9/13/2022) at 12:42 PM. Looks like they’re holding them all there until it’s time to ship to the final destination. Anyone see a scan after Louisville?

nope - nor would we. In prior years they shipped to the final stations, and then either a) they got lost, b) mishandled, or c) stolen.

So easier to watch the whole load in SDF/Worldport.

side-note - funny that Apple still is in PTS status... until tomorrow. a.k.a. don't bother us.

They will remain KY till tomorrow. No one will have scans today that left Kentucky. Tomorrow we all will expect import scan and onto our final destination by friday morning

Yep, this popped up last night/this morning and has the HESZ prefix. But interestingly the Apple Store app still shows "Preparing to Ship"...
