I don't know if you care or not, but ArmorSuite makes a nice screen protector that covers the whole screen.
I'm not sure you'd find a tempered glass one that covers the whole screen. The ArmorSuite is tough stuff. Unless your going to be extremely hard on your watch screen I don't see the need for tempered glass IMHO.
This is an attractive example of why it's important to choose 22mm wide straps/bands. Looks great, unlike the narrower ones that I've seen in other pics.

These cases are hideous. I use a case on my iPhone sometimes. But the watch is definitely a product that should not be in a case.
The world has changed since watches were common. There are kids growing up who will have little association with watches as jewelry.
They look truly terrible with cases on. I imagine people who are buying cases are those who can't quite justify the amount of money they've spent on this device and so are really struggling to use it naked in case of damage which would lower resell value, if there's even gonna be one with Apple Watch - which remains to be seen.

They really are kinda stupid. I've not seen a single Apple Watch case that I've thought, "Yeah, that really compliments the Apple Watch." Cause they just don't.
I don't have my SS
watch yet, but I'm pretty sure I won't be putting it in a case, but I've learned to never say never. What if, for kids, the watch becomes a vehicle for third-party accessories that in themselves become more important than the watch inside?

I think you misunderstand. The walkie-talkie feature you keep referring to is no different than voice iMessages between you and anyone else. It, by definition, does mimic a walkie-talkie so I believe that was the feature being referred to in the announcement.
But...but...what about the those of us who have wanted a watchie-talking since that Scrubs episode had them in 2006?

Well they did announce a feature called Walkie Talkie, although I'm not totally sure how it would have been used. Maybe the other features essentially made it redundant.
