someone said it, but i'm just going to repeat, its actually pretty impressive that if you put the link pointing to an area in itunes in safari, it brings up the mobile itunes app...never wouldn't have expected that

It works great over wifi...but not on 3 g or edge.

I can get a list of albums and the songs, the album art even shows up on my iphone...but it just buffers and buffers....is there a setting I need to adjust.

Firewall is off and sharing is enabled on my mac

shouldn't need to adjust any settings on your mac or phone. i just buffered a 4:38 song in <20 secs on EDGE. no skips or rebuffers after it begins playing.

mine just buffers forever too. I'm guessing some servers are busy somewhere and we'll have to wait a day or 2. Anyone else just getting the endless buffer?

My only gripe with Simplify Media, and it's happened on the desktop version and the iPhone version, is that occasionally, a song will just stop and it will move on to the next stop. Or in the desktop version, it will bump me out of the shared music completely, forcing me to go back and pull down the remote list and everything again. Not sure what causes it, though, but it doesn't happen all the time.

same here...no where to be found except via itunes store on my mac....and can verify that it works great on edge here in orlando.

If you go to this thread on your iPhone and click the direct link, it will take you to it on your iPhone app store.

This thing works great on wifi, but on edge in NY, buffering takes a really long time, cool nonetheless.

The app store is starting to shape up, and the iphone seems to get more functional everyday.

Its says "movies" in the playlist

not sure where you see this? in the App store I dont see this.
if you mean you see it on your iPhone, it's probably because you have a playlist called' movies' in iTunes. SM synchs your playlists, but can only support music. at least that's what the description in the app store says pretty clearly.

Guys, thanks for the tip. Just grabbed this program. Works great over wifi. have been using SM for a year now and love it...

Will try over edge and 3g and see how it works...

my friend and i just discovered no drm play on the iphone. :(

Interesting. You're right. The DRM files just don't even show up in the list. I wonder why, since the desktop version does. Maybe it's an SDK issue.

Just found this out, too. Big letdown. I e-mailed SimplifyMedia and asked if it was a future planned feature or a limitation of the SDK. I'll let everyone know what I hear, but I'm less than optimistic that it's something that can be "fixed" in a future version without some concession by Apple.
