In regards to the DRM, that's unfortunate, but here's the workaround I'm thinking of:

Make a smart playlist that includes all DRM files, and always have that synced on the iPhone. To make space for it, remove some other files and plan on listening to them over the network.

I don't know about everyone else, but I have about 2 GB of DRM files compared to about 30 GB of non-DRM files. I wonder if that percentage is similar for others?

If so, just take the DRM with you and stream most everything else.

Here's the reply I received regarding the playing of DRM protected songs:

Good question. We rely on iTunes to play DRM protected songs on the desktop. Unfortunately, there is no iTunes app on the iPhone, and we can't tap into the built in iPod/Music player. I'm not sure if this will be possible in the future, but if Apple opens up access to their Music player, we'll certainly look into it.

Thanks,

Bill

I was very surprised how quickly they responded, but not good news. :(

I have over 100 gigs of music in my iTunes, and its stilllllll loading up the songs. I love this program though! The artist bios and lyrics are A+. Works pretty well over edge too. I'm surprised.

Oh, and has anyone had an issue with certain CD's (non DRM) not showing up? I'm not sure if it is because it is still loading my artists up, or what. It seems like it just loads each artist in alph. order, yet some CDs aren't showing up for certain artists..

Just downloaded it, looks awesome.

Quick questions: Can your home computer be asleep or does it need to be active? Also, will there be any problem if I use an external drive for my iTunes music?

Thanks!

Podcasts work.... I have a lot of (1h and more each) tiesto, boramusic housecast etc podcasts. No need to sync them anymore, they end up being 2-3gbs....
Cool and useful APP, and free...:D

I run all of my music off of an external HD to my iTunes, and it works perfectly.

I got it working finally, its great having a 100+ gig library on your phone.

I'll probably use it most in the car, so I can keep a charger pluged in.

So far, this is the best app going.

I wonder if rogers will be shocked that people can actually get some millage out of thier 6gig plans.

Just curious.. can you receive calls while streaming your music???

yes

did they take it down already?

i searched for it on the app store on my iphone and it finds the name and then i click on it and it says no matches

To the above two posts: no videos yet and click on the link on page one of this thread while on your iPhone.

Can someone please answer this: Does this app work while the computer is asleep, or does your home computer need to be active? I guess the only downside would be the power wasted while keeping your home computer on all the time (i.e. a long trip).

I don't think it's possible to work with the computer asleep. You won't have an active internet connection to it while asleep.

Well, like I stated earlier if you go into the setting of SM on your computer you can enable it to "allow computer to sleep while connected". I know this works because I've been listening to my itunes music (over 3G) in my car today and my imac's screen has been off.

Great App! my only complaint is that some of of the songs dont seem to be playing at the highest quality while others sound great. Not sure why this is.

Free!!! This app is worth it for a paid app. Unlike the other POS that we just got recently burned on. I'd donate if they had a link. It's that good of an app. :)

really good app, one thing to remember even if your pal doesn't have an iphone they can still download the pc or mac version, it runs great in itunes.
just wish you could leave the app on the phone and the music would still play!

so whats the difference between this and the remote app that lets you access your itunes library over wifi? anything?
