Yes, those logs should just be reporting the kexts that came with 190 (aside from those installed by the script).

My 10A190 does have it, but it's possible that it was copied there from Leopard. I don't remember selecting that, but the version is identical so it is probably from Leopard.Hi @Project Alice,
Well the problem is that I still see references to Geforce.kext not being PPC and
that GeforcePPC kext is failling to load because NVDAResmanPPC kext
is not present.
GeforcePPC kext does not exist in the 096 only in Leopard.
Does it exist in the 190?
Can you check?
Best regards,
voidRunner
I can if I make a disk with 096 on it. I should probably have a partition with both, I didn't really think about that. I installed 190 over 96 when 190 became available.Hi @Project Alice,
Can you try and remove all of them ( Geforce*.kext and NVDA* )
and replace with the ones from 096??
Best regards,
voidRunner
Thank you, I’ll post the results of this in a couple days. I start my work stretch (3 12s) tomorrow morning.
Hi @pepotrone,
Can you post a screenshot booting in verbose mode
when the KP happens?
Best regards,
voidRunner
Hi vddrnnr, I give you the screenshots of the panic kernel in the ibook g4 1.42 and also the dual g5 2.3 (PPC_SL_10A190 image uploaded)
I have used the disk utility to restore and also the CCC, getting panic kernels with both.
Thank you.

USB drives are recognized, but Finder does not show them on the desktop. If you "go to folder" /Volumes/ they show up.I got it booted on a 2005 PowerBook G4 (1.5-1.67 GHz) using the PPC_SL_10A190 image uploaded here (thanks!). It doesn't look like full graphs support is loaded, no wifi, and there's a lot of crashes. Nothing new there though, but one thing I didn't see mentioned is none of my USB drives are recognized. Also, sleep very much doesn't work, and it looks like I have to hard power down, then disconnect the power and the battery to fully shutdown (holding the power doesn't completely power off).
Thanks again! Very exciting. I'll have to test more after work.

Image don't have /sbin files at all
@pepotrone Could you check your folder /Volumes/WhereInstalled106PPC/sbin
Also, tell me how to you download it from MEGAsync service, with or without stopping while download, I think that problem with Image happen when you (I'm) download with this Service partially, I mean when download sopped by traffic size exception, or may be this problem happen when image downloaded with problems in crypto service.
md5 PPC_SL_10A190.dmg (broken image)
MD5 (PPC_SL_10A190.dmg) = d951ddc7e07abab23e460fcb7d5dc0fa
With second try download also broken image: Empty launchd and zero size files

Anyone who use this image could you please check md5 or re-upload to another host if it no problem for you ?
Thank you for answering me
The image I downloaded has the same MD5 number that you have written, that is, d951ddc7e07abab23e460fcb7d5dc0fa.
I downloaded it from mega, continuously without interruption with the browser (one with firefox and one with Opera), so I understand that it will be correct.
Inside the /Sbin folder I have 62 files each with a different size.
What can I try?
Thank you
sudo nvram boot-args="-v"
Thank you. Success booting to my iMac G5Try restore this image with doing next steps:
1) Open DiskUtility
2) Format (Erase) partition for install (maybe unnecessary)
3) Try to restore image with set checkbox "Erase partition" true
4) DiskUtility show message "This image need check for restore" (or similar) Press Ok, wait
5) Wait while image will be restored. (On my eMac this take ~10 minutes)
6) Set boot device and reboot (for verbosity you can run this:Code:sudo nvram boot-args="-v"
Depends on how you define the "final build". Most fundamental would imho be the kernel itself, so we´d either have it compiled from sources for PPC or find the "last" one with PPC support. Kexts are more or less explored now, but frameworks are to be checked. There are still some severe bugs in our 10A190 combo that might only be resolved by finding suitable frameworks from either later builds (again, PPC support needed) or from 10.5.8 wherever possible due to dependencies...Now the question is, can we get the final 10.6 installed, with files from this build copied over? As in only the required folks to make it work.

But it´s "just a lot of work", I guess.
Nice config, how about noisy ? And speed of load for example Xcode ?Hi! I restored the DMG shared on #200 post. Did that on Snow Leopard running on Mac Pro 1,1. All the hard disks were inside the Mac Pro. Moved the hard disk with the restored DMG to the G5 and booted just fine.
