I agree about safari, I used to always get the "this page had to reload" error. I dont recall getting that on IOS9 so far.

Same here, no reloads on my 6+. I agree things need to be smoothed out for sure.

It will only "demolish" till iPhone 7 is out.Than Apple will cripple it just like it did for Air 2 and iPhone 6 so it performs like a Android device

not sure why they would cripple the Air 2, not everyone wants a screen size that comes with the iPad Pro... both the mini 4 and the Air 2 are their showcase models for those sizes.

Im surprised how well my mini 4 runs iOS 9 compared to my iphone 6 plus. The ram sure does make a difference with iOS 9.

the 2 gig of ram made a difference in iOS 8.4.1 as well with the air 2 but I don't think the RAM has anything to do with the lag and stuttering seen in iOS9.

I agree, since some folks are reporting their S's are not so fluid as well.

My Air 2 was fine on 8.4 and on 9.0/9.0.1/9.0.2/9.1 it is like using an old android phone.

My iPhone 6 I have left on 8.4 mainly because of jailbreak and all the problems that I was having on my iPad.

On my 6s it was ridiculous how bad it was but 9.1 does seem to have sorted a fair bit of the problems out. Am I happy with my 6s, no but I'm also not using it that much because my 6 is working so good/better than my 6s especially with the jailbreak.

My sister said her battery was worse on the 6s than the 6. I had the 6+ so obviously it's worse for me

She is a reviewer on youTube, and she does very thorough and detailed video reviews.

Yep. I can clearly see the slight fps drops on 720p60 from my 2011MBA. The 6s+ is just on par with 5c on this video. 6s isn't immune. Just go to cellular settings then normally (not fast) scroll drop down on the apps listed, then you'll see 10 FPS scrolling stutter.

Apple refused to make the 6S plus specs better even though it has a more demanding scaling process from some high res (I forget ) down to 1080p. Apple should beef up the Plus as it seems it still can't handle it.

I think it's just not optimized yet because of Metal, the regular 6s stutters too.

It's no coincidence that it's smoother anyway. Happened with 6 and 6 plus. It's just one of the compromises right now. Bigger screen and ois but performance takes a hit.

Can I say iPhone 6 Plus is basically the same thing as the iPad 3?
They're both an abandoned stepchild

Anyone with a 5s please, is the lag gone on the following?:
-control center
-quick reply
-keyboard rotation
-switcher
-swiping pages
-both notification center and control center on the lockscreen
-music app
I have a 5s that I just updated from 8.4 to 9.1 (I was too concerned with lag to upgrade to 9.0). I don't see any lag on those screens.

If someone wants to see stuttering on 6S, go to Phone app, missed calls list and scroll slowly to medium speed. Dropped frames galore.

I would suggest clearing your recents.
And wait for indexing to finish, right?

I have a 5S, tried this on friends 6S. While CC opening is smoother on 6S, phone calls list was one of the apps being stuttery, as well as spotlight animation and multitasking view. Don't worry, you just don't see it.

Weird.I did have that atrocious stutter in recent calls but 9.1 fixed it for me

Might be, the device I was talking about had 9.0.2. The stutter still occurs on a 1 year old 6 and 5S though and throughout the apps who have some kind of listview.
