After watching the 6S vs. 6S+ stutter video I just played around for a minute and had a thought for all those who are happy with their device and not seeing issues. Put a fast smooth device alongside your iDevice and mess around.
I placed my 6S+ and Note 5 side by side and did simple things like pulling down the notification pane, opening the "task Manager", opening and closing apps. When I do this it becomes readily apparent how slow/laggy/stuttery the 6S+ is for some functions.

With my 6 still on 8.4.1 and my air 2 on 9.1, I experience this every day. I guess I should slow down my phone so I don't notice the difference, lol.

[Edit] On the Note 5 I do have animations turned OFF in Settings.
Actually it seems Android as of late is faster than iOS.I played with the 6P in store to check it out and its a buttery smooth 60 fps everywhere. In fact were it not for my dismay at the $700 iPhone in my pocket at that point I would have said "TAKE MY DAMN MONEY"

So you think the lag is immaterial so we shouldn't talk about it
What? None of that is what that discussion is about. Not sure why people are jumping into something else with other things not related to it at all.

After over 40 odd pages of going around the same circle, as you said, I stopped reading the same arguments over and over and over again.... I guess some people like to regurgitate same things with a view that it will perhaps "cure all ills" for them, although I doubt it....

Point I am trying to make to you is that perhaps you will be better served by just ignoring the constant whining of a point which has already been made by same people in multiple threads....

Don't bother with iOS 9.2. Spotlight is laggier than on 9.1. (iPhone 6 Plus)

That doesn't sound good if you see lag with such a new device as the iPhone 6 Plus.
Have you tried out 3rd party keyboards like Swype or Swiftkey when you do a Spotlight search (swipe down gesture) does it still stutter/lag when showing the actual keyboard?

Hey! I just noticed something with iOS 9.1. When bringing up the app switcher I can now tap the next app card I want MID-ANIMATION and it responds and goes to the next card instantly!! In iOS 8 you'd have to wait till the animation was over. I haven't seen this since the iOS 7 days. Progress! Now they just need to add this back to the springboard with opening and closing apps like 8.4.1 and I'll be happy again! I feel like they are messing with my head changing these behaviors and then switching them back and taking some away.

So in still on 8.4.1 and refuse to upgrade again from this lag issue.

Is this something that apple listens to? Or from here on out are we supposed to just settle and accept the lag of iOS 9!?

I just don't understand!

Apparently Betas do not mean anything because almost everything I reported in the beta remained in the final version. What's the point of a beta if they don't improve it?
