Had this thread been started with iOS 9 beta 1 , it would probably be 160 or so pages later

After watching the 6S vs. 6S+ stutter video I just played around for a minute and had a thought for all those who are happy with their device and not seeing issues. Put a fast smooth device alongside your iDevice and mess around.
I placed my 6S+ and Note 5 side by side and did simple things like pulling down the notification pane, opening the "task Manager", opening and closing apps. When I do this it becomes readily apparent how slow/laggy/stuttery the 6S+ is for some functions.
Or can afford it.I would hope not as well, not everyone wants a screen that size.
Actually it seems Android as of late is faster than iOS.I played with the 6P in store to check it out and its a buttery smooth 60 fps everywhere. In fact were it not for my dismay at the $700 iPhone in my pocket at that point I would have said "TAKE MY DAMN MONEY"After watching the 6S vs. 6S+ stutter video I just played around for a minute and had a thought for all those who are happy with their device and not seeing issues. [Edit] On the Note 5 I do have animations turned OFF in Settings.
Yes, because iOS 8 didn't use metal.5s and 6 were smoother on 8.4.1 than any 9.1 phone (including 6s).
Any news of 9.1.1 or 9.2 beta?
Oh cool, that happened while I've been out for a walk9.2 beta released.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_(API)Yes, because iOS 8 didn't use metal.
Metal seems to worsen the problem than help to be honest. We need a Off switch for Metal to solve the lag problemhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_(API)
I think it has something to do with "Explicit synchronization between GPU and CPU". In iOS 9, the animation duration is the same as 8.4.1, yet some frames are skipped. To me, this seems like a 'synchronisation error'.
And still you pretend it doesn't exist?40-some more pages later we'll still be going around the same circles.
Seems like you might have missed quite a bit of discussion that has happened (aside from misunderstanding/ignoring a good part of it from the beginning). And still you pretend it doesn't exist?

Nothing to brush anywhere when it's all right there for anyone to see.It seems like you just want to brush it under the rug.

Not what that is about.True! The lag is apparent. How can you hide it?
So you think the lag is immaterial so we shouldn't talk about itNot what that is about.
What? None of that is what that discussion is about. Not sure why people are jumping into something else with other things not related to it at all.So you think the lag is immaterial so we shouldn't talk about it

Don't bother with iOS 9.2. Spotlight is laggier than on 9.1. (iPhone 6 Plus)
Doesn't surprise me as Spotlight on 9.1 is worse than 9.0.2Don't bother with iOS 9.2. Spotlight is laggier than on 9.1. (iPhone 6 Plus)
So in still on 8.4.1 and refuse to upgrade again from this lag issue.
Is this something that apple listens to? Or from here on out are we supposed to just settle and accept the lag of iOS 9!?
I just don't understand!
