Finally was able to pull up my account, and now they state I can't upgrade using the website! Have to call or go to the store? Ridiculous. I want to see everything in writing in front of me and not feel rushed by having to talk to a rep. I wasn't dead set on upgrading anyway, so I guess I'll just wait until the future. Didn't have this problem upgrading to my 13PM.
Reading online and it shows that Apple's system was also down for a moment. Also, noticing that Sprint is now T-Mobile customers being charged while T-Mobile customers are not. Interesting....🤓
I was able to finally order about 10-15 mins ago from Apple directly using the T-Mo equipment installment option. Shipping slipped to October but I was able to do local pickup for Sep 17th. Wasn't working for me before, would say Account Inactive so try that for those still looking for a way.
The T-Mo site still gave me the call us to order upgrade message, which thankfully I was able to avoid now having tried that a couple times.

Interestingly when I check my apple.com order status by logging in with my Apple ID it's not showing up at all. When I click the link from the email confirmation however and login it says my Apple ID doesn't match the order even though I used the right one which is just my email address.

Finally got my order in at Apple for T-Mobile. I ordered iPhone Pro 14 in Gold 256. Had to pay 8 dollars shipping to get it the 16th sigh.
Did you guys get a down payment for T-mobile? I had to pay a 94 down payment but it is only going to be like .20c a month which is worth it! I feel like there is a catch to get it that low.
Edit: So through the T Mobile app it shows 0 down payment but the monthly payment is 13 after trade in. Very confusing.

was able to place my orders for the phones about 30 minutes ago via the Apple Store App. I guess my phone number is “active” again. Unfortunately the ship dates are now in October. Thanks T-Mobile for your system crash. It’s not like this is the first time for a new phone release.
Well, I have enough with T-Mobile so I went on Apple’s website and ordered the iPhone 14Pro-max in Deep Purple and got $720 trade-in for my iPhone 13 promax. The only downside is I have to wait until October 10 for delivery but my iPhone 13 promax is working fine so I can wait.
Well I finally got it for my GF. I ordered throug the Apple App under her T mobile account with her CC and her name as pickup. Its under my apple order page though. Will that matter?

She called me at 9AM EST and took my order over the phone and it took almost 2 hours for her to get the order in because of their issues.
I ordered a gold Pro Max and a silver Pro. Got texts at 10:55 and 10:57 saying orders were confirmed ad will be shipping 9/16.
But my rep did tell me I should expect them 9/20-21. So we'll see.

FINALLY placed two upgrade orders via the T-Mobile app, both phones (since no one could order for 2+ hours...) are scheduled to arrive 9/16.
A question about the way they do promotions though - was assured I was getting $1k each for both phones being traded in, but got a follow-up text on each order stating the pre-promotion trade-in amount. Is that common, or am I likely going to need to fight tooth and nail to get the promo trade value?

It comes in two credits. The initial credit after they receive your phone, and then the promo credits as bill credits towards the installment amount after two billing cycles. You should be good!
