I was just told via 611 that down payment is $109.00 and $40 a month for the iPhone Xs Max 64gb on JOD. They said they won't be able to know exactly if you have qualify for $0 down cause some will until pre order time and they check your account.
40 a month sounds way low - even with 100 down which sounds like just tax

Compared to Apple upgrade program, is the following correct?

1) T-Mobile EIP does not show up on your credit report as a loan. Apple program does?
2) T-Mobile EIP does not require Apple Care. Apple program does?

Sounds right...40x18=720(monthly lease totals) 720+109(down payment)=829 1099-829=270(buyout at end of lease)
Sounds just right actually. Also they don't charge the card until it actually ships which is usually next Thursday assuming we all get it launch day.

Because I'm JOD it has to be done via phone. However, I called in 2 minutes before pre-orders went live last year and I got through okay and received my phone on launch
You can also do via Facebook Messenger, which is how I did JOD for my X.

Just called a TMO rep and he told me that their pricing had updated for JOD and I inquired about XS MAX 64 GB and he said $110 down + $40 month because we're well qualified customers. I made sure to verify this information with him three times before I hung up the phone and he said that was the correct pricing.

Why does this seem wrong?

Same info I got when I called earlier but this is for 3 year tenure customers. The lady I spoke to called it Super Well qualified. Well qualified would be the $279 or $379 down she said. I'm over 3 years now but she said they don't know your 100% down payment until they run it when you pre-order. But she informed me there is no $0 down anymore on JOD, that they issued the statement a year ago and it went into effect last month.

This is what I'm trying to verify. My 3 year tenure comes up in December...If this is truly the case, I'll hold out a few months...Putting $400 down on a LEASED phone is too painful.

Just found out Verizon is offering B1G1 free on new iPhones including XS and XS max . One new line required though and no trade in required

All we get at at T-mobile is 100/200/300. John are you listening ??

I had both Twitter and Facebook chat tell me it would be the 129 or 229 down for the max for 64 and 256 based on my credit profile. We will see what happens at midnight.

Since not going through T-Mobile, then you would just have to pay it off before any trade in
I paid online and got messages immediately stating my device was purchased and my EIP was complete.
As for the trade in, you can trade it in anywhere...I was just looking around and it seemed Apple has the highest offer (aside from selling it yourself). I am new to the process as well, but from what I understand they will mail you a shipping box/label and you send it in. If you elect to have the new phone picked up in a store, I think you can have the direct amount applied prior to financing. That is why I was ok to pay my $400 off on tmobile as the phone w/trade in will "only" cost me about $500 after the credit.

Apple says if you’re financing, the trade in credit goes towards the taxes and fees. If you’re paying for the device outright, THEN it goes to the full price of the phone.

This guy on Twitter came back and said I have credit of 423 and depending on my trade in value of my current s9+ I may have a larger down payment. Since when does JOD require a value of trade in. Makes no sense.

How long did you wait for a response? It’s been hours for me.

I’m confused....my partner is on the original Jump program and I’m on JOD. I forget which one has to be called in and which one I can do online. I remember them telling me I have to do them separately last year. Does anyone know?!?

I hope I explained that correct. When I trade in my iPhone I can mail it in while my partner has to take his to a t-mobile store. We have 4 lines on are account but his is the only line where we have to take the trade in into a store.

Thanks
