Carrier T-Mobile 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

Nyc ground shipper here in Same boat man. Get up in the middle of the night on a work day, just to have to wait like a pleb. There’s people who ordered days after me with overnight that got their phones on launch

I sure will. Was reserving that in case the estimated delivery was updated by this morning to something earlier. But as of this morning I haven’t seen movement on that tracking number since 10 Thursday night. I could have walked into T-Mobile and bought the phone.....

That is what I did to get are new iPhones, we are leaving Monday for 2 weeks. So having UPS CC hold my preorders and after 5 days they will return to t-mobile. T-mobile really screwed up this preorder.

I did straight Apple Care. I’ve never had a phone stolen or lost it. And I’d rather go through Apple if i damage the phone than T-Mobile

Thanks for the replies! I’m going to go through apple for AppleCare. The T-Mobile plan is weirding me out so I should just trust my gut and follow guys’ lead.

Went to pick up my phone at the ups customer center and they refused to give me my phone. License matches name. Confirmed shipping address with customer support. Now I have to wait until Monday for delivery.

They did something similar to me!!!! They said they couldn’t find the address..... so decided to have it held at the ups store and refused to give it to me. Filed a complaint and have to wait until Monday for another redelivery attempt.

That is how I got mine yesterday, but they told me to reject the delivery, which is perfect cause we leave on vacation Monday and the preorders where going to be picked up at the UPS CC. They will only hold them for 5 days before they send them back. Enjoy the new phone. I know I am.

I need the max. I just can’t get used to the smaller XS

Same, picking up from Apple today my XS Max, and will send back on Monday the T-Mobile one, TM should have stuck with overnight shipping for every order, as before.

I pre-ordered in store that Friday. My xs is scheduled for delivery for Monday! What the hell happened and what should I do if there's anything I can do?

For me they had to up my EIP(I think that is what it is called) they can increase you for just 24 hours. Once they receive my original iPhones, they will take those iPhones off my EIP.

I had to pay what I original paid on the 14th

Was there a 'Out for Delivery' scan? If there wasn't, then it never left the warehouse. They can't leave the warehouse without scanning packages. In fact, if they failed to deliver to you, you would also see an additional scan for when it returned back to the warehouse. Neither of those scans showed up on my tracker, so I know it never left the warehouse.

Exactly! What's worse for me is, I have ZERO update as to when my phone will arrive! I still have the same status notification that I had since I ordered the phone: "Estimated 9/21 - 10/4". I ordered a 512GB Xs Max and I hear no 512GB phones have shipped at all. But how lame is it that a person who pre-ordered the most expensive phone @ 3:20am is the last to get their phone? And thay haven't charged me and I have no idea when it will arrive. This is frustrating! :(

I placed an order on Apple website, using their leasing program, this morning the status is changed to "preparing to ship", I think I will get it this week. My T-Mobile order is scheduled for this Wednesday, I called and cancelled the order and would refuse the delivery. I should have done this from the beginning and I'm very satisfied to start doing the Apple leasing program, next year I won't have anymore headache of calling 611 and wait in line because I'm a JoD customer dealing with wrong down payment and wrong shipping issues.
 
Anyone here with an iPhone that’s still stuck in Louisville Kentucky? Mine hasn’t moved for over 24 hours..
