Carrier T-Mobile 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

today in a nutshell

got a flat because of a screw, had to get it fixed
my son was left in school because teachers didn’t communicate between each other and they didn’t place him in the bus (he’s 4) so we had to go pick him up 15 mins later


ups hasn’t delivered my iphone

The in store expert gave a call to retail support to get confirmation, they upped the credit line since I technically would have 3 phones on EIP/JOD but only 1 phone line, and went to process the new JOD but the option was grayed out in their system. tl;dr: If you are waiting for a JOD pre-order to arrive, don't waste your time going in store to try and get it earlier.

For those of you that successfully did this, what did the rep do for you? Double check your paperwork and make sure it was processed as a JOD and not a regular upgrade/EIP.

they had to up my EIP....one was upgraded on JOD and the other was upgraded on Jump. the person also requested UPS to return my preorder packages, got the notification from ups this morning. i even just checked my paperwork. everything was done correctly.
 
Stopped and ordered the BOGO This afternoon. At first it wasn’t shipping for awhile, but he refreshed and it popped up in stock. 256 silver max. So it and the kids “free” red 8+ are saying delivery Wednesday. We shall see... the watch - who knows. That is what I wanted first!

Anyway, if they come Wednesday I need to leave a note for the ups guy - he’s mad at me and would decide to not leave them. Hmph. 5 years is a bit long for a grudge right???

Refused to babysit his daughter in my house when she had untreated scabies.... my kids screamed NO, we still all had PTSD form when my middle had it. They wanted her very far away from them. He thinks I was being irrational - but if you’d seen how my daughters hands looking in the almost 4 months (and 6 doctors) it took to get her diagnosed you’d get it.

I send the kids out when he shows up - I hide still!
 
I'm so glad my phone finally left jersey because I was about to take a trip it will be here tomorrow but I won't be home. I'm hoping they either leave it in the mail room or the near by ups store which they sometimes drop my stuff at. Idk who the ups guy is anymore I usually have a regular and know his time but my stuff beeb coming out of another ups ima just hope tomorrow it's delivered when I get off work.
 
Is there any documentation we should be seeing if we are on the buy one get one 700 off via credits over 2 years? I didn’t see that in any of the docs I signed when I switched to T-Mobile.

Do I need to switch my SIM card to activate the Xs Max? I’m upgrading from a 7+. I never had to switch SIM cards for past updates but I also can’t remember how exactly my new phones activated with my current number.

My phone is still showing at Parsippany,NJ since yesterday supposed to be delivered tmrw to Bronx smh I’m never “preordering” with T-Mobile again .

I upgraded from same phone to xs max, did not replace sim. Just popped my old sim in new iPhone

Oh great, I think I worded it wrong because that’s what I meant lol! You took your old SIM out and put it in the Xs Max. Perfect. Thank you!

Yep. What I have always done. Keep that new sim card that came in with the new iPhone in case you need to replace it at a later time.
