Just the tracking number on the UPS side. Based from what I read here, T-mobile's site is a bit lackluster on updates.
Congrats! Mine is out for delivery right now, just waiting.Got mine! Pretty painless process. For anyone who might be Googling this -

With the Costco deal, could they order you an out of stock iPhone XS or XS Max for pick up or delivery to a home address?
And to get the full MasterCard, do you have to keep one of the new SIMs in one of the two new devices if you already have service and would just add a line? Or I can stick the new line in a crappy Nexus 5X and have that showing usage until I get my prepaid debit card?
That is how it goes. Lift the trailer off the train, drive it over. I swear it was the most exasperating experience. Then there was some unload delay in Jacksonville. I was ready to drive up and unload it myself.Have a feeling it then goes to main UPS station, then substation, then delivery. No other reason it would still be tommorow. But hey, I’m pretty much over it.
I did the BOGO at the T-Mobile store yesterday on EIP no problems. I read their sheet even - EIP allowed, no trade in required, add a line yes. From speaking to one of their associates yesterday my understanding is that you have to buy and pay for the phones up front in store..... they didnt have any stock and I asked about potentially shipping to home, he told me its not an option for the BOGO deal and specifically said the phones have to be purchased and paid full price in store.
as for sim card, as long as you initially activate the phone with the new line you can pop any T-mobile sim in there and use the phone as you wish... and vice versa pop the new line sim in to any T-mobile phone and use it there. I don't see any reason why you would not be able to do that. People sell phones, and switch phones all the time.
I plan on doing this deal with a friend, he will add a new line to his account and then we will split the total cost and I will take one of the phones and use on my T-mobile account. I don't foresee any issues as long as he performs the initial activation of the phone under the new added line.

Now the Costco deal may differ, but you can do it in the store.
Got it. We don’t have a Costco up here, so I didn’t pay a lot of attention to the offer.the problem is that the T-mobile deal pays you the $700 over 24 months so you have to keep the line open.... Costco sends you a mastercard in 6-8 weeks and you can cancel the opened line as soon as you get it. And also Costco gives you $50 on each phone right now.

I’m moving my daughter from sprint to the tmo plan, so we just used that for her. We had a free line and I put my watch on it. Win win! Not that I will get the watch this month or next... lol

Anyone still waiting should go to the store and buy one, then refuse the shipment when your pre order arrives. This makes pre ordering seem pointless to me.
Soooooo, I guess it WAS in stock, because now it is out for delivery!!! Apparently T-Mobile knew I had a really crappy Wednesday schedule so they thought they would send it overnight. At least I will have time to set it up - and be here so Mr Grumpy Pants will leave it. Woohoo!!!
But I seriously feel rotten that I’m getting it before some of you that ordered at The butt crack of dawn. Not enough to not open it though...
Now, about that watch that should be here by 12/31....
Oh man, here is hoping the watch shows up early. My gen 1 is lagging in battery life to keep up with my heart monitoring right now.I was gonna order the watch from T-Mobile, but after the down-payments that I was assured about ten times would not happen for any entry (GB size) iPhone, i didn’t follow through.
Ordered next day through Best Buy with “will ship on 21st”. 21st came and went, and that’s when T-Mobile’s ground shipping hit home. Best Buy had a fun message of “if we don’t ship it out by October 22nd, we will let you know” so I thought that was a lost cause as well.
Color me surprised when they created a shipping label last night and I’m getting the watch today, a whole day before the iPhones that were ordered at the stroke of midnight on the 14th.
Good luck on both your phone, hopefully you’re reading this on it, and I hope you get your watch soon as well.

.I ordered, in store but via business care (to have them waive shipping) the BOGO offer yesterday around 4pm. 1 silver max 256 and 1 red 8 Plus 64, and then a silver watch. Now, I need to order 2 Apple Watches, but am waiting until stock is available inside Apple Stores, because CLEARLY ordering through T-Mobile would be an unwise choice. I think we have ALL learned some valuable decisions here.
