Hey! After issues upon issues ordering my phone, I finally was able to order the phone! On the order it says ships by 10/23. However, the status says back ordered. Is this normal? Am I getting my phone Friday?

I had ordered iPhone 12 Pro Graphite at 7:30 am CST on 10/16

Chances of getting it Friday are slim if it says back ordered

I ordered a 12 pro Friday (JOD), 12 green (EIP) and used an iPhone 8 to get same trade in credit of $415 w/$200 loyalty rebate today, and an SE to replace my daughters iPhone 8. My monthly bill will actually be going down, and have $200 rebate, too. Only charged for SE obviously, no charges on the 12 pro or 12 yet.

I ordered my phone (128gb pro in blue) exactly at 8am on Friday. Status on T-Mobile app still says preorder. At what point should I see some change or a tracking number?

For everyone that got tracking info, think bigger picture. The logistics of shipping as many phones as T-Mobile will be shipping out must be crazy. I’ve seen photos I can’t seem to refind of phones sent by Apple in large boxes to T-Mobile on Thursday or Friday to be re boxed to be sent out. They have to generate hundreds of thousands of shipping labels and package them in T-Mobile boxes. It only makes sense they go ahead and log the shipping labels with the associated iemi number. That must be a logistical nightmare. That timeframe also must be insane.

I agree

I didn’t order one because I am moving on Wednesday and wouldn’t be here to get it. Can I order over the phone and pick up at a local store or can I also do that online or though the app?

I seem to remember getting 3 free months of UPSmychoice premium for T-Mobile Tuesdays a while back. Can we use our free 2hr delivery window guarantee on this shipment to try and get it delivered first thing in the morning on Friday?

edit: Looks like we should be able to starting Wednesday: https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/sri/ups-my-choice-delivery-window.page

My delivery estimate is 8:45-12:45 so theoretically I should be able to select 8:45-10:45 as a delivery window. Guess I'll try it out Wednesday morning.

True, but this isn't their first time doing this. They go through this every year. You'd think they'd have it somewhat automated by now.

Out of curiosity just checked Best Buy for delivery dates. For Verizon, Sprint, At&t, Gold and Graphite pros will arrive on launch date if pre-ordered today. Always wondered why T-Mobile and Best Buy never worked together.

Movement is usually tuesday/wednesday. Then you'll get billed and an email from tmobile with the tracking #.

Am I the only one whose tracking shows delivery by end of day and not a specific 4 hour time frame?

It's definitely different on the Sprint side. They billed me Friday about an hour and a half after I went through the priority pre-order process, and it says my phone won't be shipped until December.

I redeemed that same offer from T-Mobile Tuesday and will be using my free 2 hour confirmed window for my 12 Pro Max next month!
