Ordered the same phone and seem to be running close on status. Where did you find your tracking info, was it UPS Choice? Mine is a Jump, so not much info on T-Mobile site.

Same phone and ordering timeframe. I got charged Tuesday morning and UPS My Choice had the tracking info by Tuesday night.

Well, I just asked a Tmobile rep for order update and she said the gold Pro are backordered and I should expect it by my 11/3-11/9 date. Bummer.

That's not encouraging for me either.

Mine was the Pacific Blue 128GB Pro and it still has not moved from "processing".....

Guess mine won't make it this Friday...:(

What is your expected date? It’s still very early in the day. There’s plenty of time for cards to be charged and shipping to be sorted out. Like I said before I would say those with the dates of 10/23-10/23 and 10/24-11/2 can probably reliably expect their phones Friday with past precedent to go off of.

You’ll want to use the new SIM most likely unless your current SIM is an R15 SIM already.

I preordered mine through T Mobile. Do the new phones come with this new SIM card? Or do I need to go into a T Mobile store and buy one?

If they do come with one, how would I make sure my number doesn't change? Sorry I'm new at this stuff.

This is an order placed 3 minutes after the pre ordering opened and 5 minutes after they charged my Apple Card - the expected delivery is currently at: 11/3-11/6 which means it must be backordered.

Never thought ordering that early would result in an immediate backorder situation.

Had I known, I would have ordered the 256GB which seems less constrained...

I ordered a 128GB Pro Blue on Friday, and was finally done by about 8:47 AM (long story, as I started at 7:55AM). I have an estimated shipping date of 10/24 - 11/02 and was charged this morning. My order status hasn't changed on T-Mobile.com and I don't have anything on UPS yet. I'm sure that will change by later this afternoon.

I hear ya on that. I told myself I was ordering through Apple this year, too. But the extra $100 back from T-Mo was the difference maker for me ($450+$150 via Apple, $500+$200 via T-Mo).
Loyalty promo is only if ordering through T-Mobile, right?

Yeah, I ordered slightly later, hour and a half after live time (only because I originally was going for Max and changed my mind on it. And I was looking at 256 Pro also, but it showed a later date vs the 128, which was showing 10/23 date. So I went with 128, only to have confirmation email seconds after order submission change to 11/3-9 date. Frustrating, cause the point of preorder is to get it earlier (for me, at least.)

Oh nice, no brainer for me either then, $500 + $200 much better than just 520$ (370 +150)

Thanks!
Don't forget to factor in T-Mobile's 30 month payout. That's what makes it the real no brainer AGAINST their deal.

I understand. Rather get an additional 180$ off and pay remaining balance before next preorder (just like I did for my wife's XR this time) or just skip an additional year.

Yes, this was a concern since going with the carrier trade in would have resulted in a 30 month contract for bill credits and if I wanted next year's phone then I would have to continue paying for 18 more months or pay it off early to continue the bill credits - keeps you locked in with TMO.
I did the carrier trade last year.

This year, I went with Apple's trade in ($350) plus the $150 T Mobile rebate.

I am happy since I got 3% back immediately ($30) using the Apple Card plus I get to pay it off in 12 months ready for next year's phone.

Thank you. Does it say R15 on it prominently? I just checked my SIM and I don't see R15 on it.

Not if you plan to be with t-mobile for 30 months. For me it was $500 vs. $100 (iPhone 7).

Staying with T-Mobile for 30 months AND not upgrading yearly makes ordering with T-Mobile an easy choice. But I get that for folks who upgrade yearly ordering directly with Apple is the way to go. The nice thing is we have a choice for what is best for us individually ;).

Now if I could just get my tracking info from T-Mobile! My initial order just before pre-order open has been pending charges with my card almost all week. It gets shipped under my wife's name and she doesn't recall her UPS MyChoice info and hasn't gone back into to look for it, hah. And my wife's pre-order from later in the day on the 16th has not been charged yet and is still showing 11/3-11/10 which is what we figured would happen with a 128gb Pacific Blue.

Add her to your UPS my choice thingy as a household member. I had to do same.

Yes - it will specifically say R15 on the sim itself. The R15 sim is only required for mmWave and the newly rolling out Standalone 5G. Current sim cards will work just fine on the nationwide Sub6 5G. I believe someone posted a picture of it earlier in the thread.

Wait, I just noticed that extra $30 charge with T-mobile vs apple pricing on the iPhone 12. Did not see a credit when placing order. Are you guys getting that credited back?
