My tracking number disappeared from my UPS my choice summary screen, but the tracking number is still active.

Strange. Do something, T-mobile.

Wait, I just noticed that extra $30 charge with T-mobile vs apple pricing on the iPhone 12. Did not see a credit when placing order. Are you guys getting that credited back?
It appears that Apple was not truthful in its advertised pricing. The pricing quoted ($999 for the 12 pro) was inclusive of a $30 discount offered by Verizon. The ACTUAL price is $1029. I'm sure Verizon paid a hefty amount to have that happen.

So not something I could get back through T-Mobile? Wondering what are people doing and if worth time/energy.

Actually I think the Pros don’t have the $30 markup. It’s just on the 12. The Pro unlocked is still $999 on Apple’s site.

On the fence about MagSafe charger/case still. How do you like the case?
It seems really strong. I like the Blue color. Seems solid. My first Apple case. I only got the mag safe because I use my car a lot and will be using the mag safe car mount. Not a fan of vent mounted options so I may need to have my tooling friend make me a solid mount

Same thing happened to me... strange. I'm sure it's probably just something weird with their scheduling software. Maybe since it isn't actually physically in the system just yet. I wouldn't be too worried about it yet.

Where are you seeing this for the Pro models? From what I can tell the price was always $999 on both T-Mobile's website and Apple.com, including the SIM-free models.

That wasn't the case for the iPhone 12, which was originally listed as $829 on Apple's website for T-Mobile/Sprint/SIM-Free but is now listed as $799 on Apple.com but as $829 on T-mobile.com

Just got charged FINALLY for my 128gb graphite pro. I’ve never been so happy to be charged ? This gives me a little bit of hope I might receive it Friday, although I have “2 day ground shipping” and I don’t see any shipping info in T-Mobile or UPS just yet. ??

Yes - it will specifically say R15 on the sim itself. The R15 sim is only required for mmWave and the newly rolling out Standalone 5G. Current sim cards will work just fine on the nationwide Sub6 5G. I believe someone posted a picture of it earlier in the thread.

What is standalone 5G vs Nationwide Sub6 5G? This will be my first phone with 5G so I don't know anything about it. My plan automatically includes it correct?

You're right, its only on the 12, not the 12 pro. But still, kinda shady IMO.

The difference is that with the way 5G currently works, you're sharing 5G on the same network as 4G LTE. With the Standalone 5G that T-Mobile has begun rolling out recently, the towers are only sending out 5G signal, not a combination of both. They started rolling this out once they began shutting down the sprint network after the merger. Sub6 is just the band they are using (I used the term Sub6 for Non-StandAlone 5G but they do use the same bands).

What do you guys think about upgrading between using TM or just direct at Apple using the 24 0% card?
I have a $140 TM One for 4 lines family plan and not sure I want to be locked for another 30 months. It's not so bad value and the Netflix perk is nice.
It's a tough decision because of the $300 trade-in credit for each of the two iphone 7, I am upgrading it's quite a bit more than selling myself. Oh, boy decisions.

Don't forget to factor in T-Mobile's 30 month payout. That's what makes it the real no brainer AGAINST their deal.

Why against? For me, that means lower monthly payments, which I’m all for.

Apple financing is over 24 months, and the trade-in credit just lowers your monthly payment. So the choice is financing $X for 24 months or $X-100 for 30 months.

With interest-free financing options, there’s no reason to part with all that money up front. Throw it in a savings/brokerage account and earn interest/dividends on it.

Yeah, that was a hard pill to swallow. I didn't want to have to commit to those payments. I was going to just buy the phone outright. But a guaranteed $500 off was hard to pass up.

I was charged for the phone yesterday, but still no change on my account. Still says shipping between 10/24 and 11/02 and no IMEI number. Hoping that changes soon!
