That is true for Samsung releases... T-Mo ships those early... but not Apple. Apple locks it down hardcore.

I’m always in before 5am and I’ve paid for fastest shipping and never got one earlier than launch (from TMO). I do it just because I “think” it ensures I’ll get it launch lol … and every year like clockwork, shows up Friday, not early. And every year I kindly ask TMO to credit me the money back for the fast shipping.
But hey, I hope I’m wrong … if somebody really does get it early better post a pic and not live in Australia ;-)
And just checked UPS my choice, scheduled delivery, you guessed it, Fri
TMobiles shipping is very fast I live near a wearhouse and it only takes two day when I order a device from them. My CC was charged and it shows shipped by 9/24 so let's see what happens.
Ordered my 128gb 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue around 7:50am on the website. I was charged Saturday and have tracking information on my choice. Says delivery on Friday before 7:00 pm and I didn’t pay for express shipping (I never do). It’s also saying UPS 2nd Day Air.
No it won’t happen getting it any earlier. I paid for next day shipping and even my UPS tracking info says 1 day delivery but the estimated delivery date on the tracking still says estimated delivery is Friday. Apple is very strict about not having delivery before release day.
I ordered an iPhone 13 pro max 256gb in Sierra blue via sprint site. Received confirmation at 8:04am. In my experience with ordering an iPhone every year through carrier, I’ve received my iPhone on launch day. Typically received a tracking number by Wednesday. Happy to see people receiving tracking numbers. I’m confident that my tracking is coming soon! 😁
Yeah I don't expect it..... sales people say anything. CC was charged Saturday but nothing yet in MyChoice.

Mine says 9/24 to 9/27 ship date, but no charge for me either. I ordered at 8:30am ish eastern. 256gb pro too.

Going out of town for the weekend and leaving around 6:30 am Friday morning. Was hoping to swing by and pick up my phone before hand.

My understanding of how UPS works is that if it isn't a UPS hub, then the package would get delivered there during its normal delivery run. So having it deliver to CVS probably wouldn't be any earlier than your home (or it could be depending on route, but impossible to know for sure). But the CVS could maybe hold it until you get back on Monday? Idk
Same here! I was so upset my first order got cancelled (ordered 9/17 at 8:15am "confirmed") only to get a text the next day saying there was a mistake and order was cancelled. So I preordered again with the 9/28-10/5 ship date and was charged the same day. Just checked my choice UPS and it says shipment ready for 9/24. Lets see!
It’s been a while since I did the pre-order thing but the last time I did i had it held at a UPS CC. At that time the only ones that could hold it and allow you to pick up on release day was the CC. Any others delayed it by a day or two. And for the CC I was able to pick up as soon as they opened which was around 8am. From what I understand from other members, the process is still the same.
Pretty sure T-Mobile heavily stocks the 128gb as those models are the ones that not only sells the most but continues selling as time moves on, the higher GB models usually only sell well early on. That’s why the shipping times are so spread out. If you ordered the 128gb in the past few days you are pretty much guaranteed to get it at launch day
I ordered at 5am when they opened the pre orders and got charged on Saturday, still no tracking number. On the T-MOBILE app it’s saying shipping- 9/24–9/27.
The closest cc here doesn't open until 5pm. They used to open at 8am, and I'd have phones held there and pick up on way to work. Not my plan now, lol.
I preordered with T-Mobile on Friday morning - 128 blue. It prepared to ship and was picked up on Friday night. UPS Next Day Saver. It’s out for delivery today! I’m shocked since I thought the 24th was the release day.
Your iPhone is? You sure it’s your phone and that you ordered a 13 model? I’m not even sure our phones are in the states yet.
I just looked it up and mine opens at 9. I’m going back and forth on if I want to. UPS runs through my neighborhood around 10-2. So part of me says go ahead and have it delivered to the house as planned because knowing my luck I’d have it routed to the CC and it would get delayed. But I’m also impatient and that would be the one day it wouldn’t get there till 3-4. And I’m usually out around that time picking kids up
