A question for you all just so I don't shoot myself in the foot for launch day: If I call UPS, and ask them to hold my iPhone @ the Customer Center, I'll be able to pick it up on Friday, and It won't add another day of delivery to it or whatever? I'll be home to wait for it, but it's a crap shoot here in Seattle. UPS have come as late as 10:00pm before.

If it's a customer center which is the UPS hub most times then yes, shouldn't be any delay in shipping. Instead of putting it on a truck out for delivery, they would just hold it for you. If you call UPS, they will ask you to do it from UPS my choice online. Cool thing is you can almost always pick it up as soon as they open and most open at 8am!

Good to know, and yeah the center here is fairly large. As for UPS My Choice, my shipment isn't reflecting there just yet since only the label has been created. I'll have to wait for actual movement to do that?

You don't actually. Every time I've done it including now, it was on only on label created ready for ups and I was able to request it just fine. They actually won't process the request until it arrives at your local hub.

For some reason I continue to get this error if I click on "Change Shipment" on the tracking page, and it doesn't show up in My Choice. No idea why.

Hm, only thing I can think of is it doesn't show up on UPS my choice and your getting that error, is that the address on the package is not the same as address listed on UPS my choice. Have you tried going into the my choice settings and verified name and address are correct?

Yep, and I've even added my address with the crazy all caps that T-Mobile uses.

Man that's weird. I don't know why it wouldn't let you. If you verified address and name, sometimes it changes with name variations and you can add those on UPS my choice as well, I assume that's all good too. I don't know what else it could be, sorry man.
 
Anybody's order that shown as Shipped have any movement? Mine still says Order Processed Ready for UPS. Odd because status showed Shipped Sunday but I just got an email confirmation yesterday of the T-Mobile Order Payment processed. No change on the date - still shows 11/3.

Yeah, no worries. I do appreciate the info. I did a quick chat with UPS and they said I'd have to wait until the package starts to actually move. Not a big deal.
 
Just wanted to update the thread. I ordered on launch day at 8:23pm EST through the T-Mobile website, estimated ship date was 11/3-11/10. I have already been charged and my order just changed status to "Shipped" moments ago. I ordered Silver 64Gb and paid in full.

I see lots of Silver movement, but not much SG. Anyone have a theory why that might be?

From past experience with years of these preorders, things are done in large blocks. We may see movement/traction only on one color or size variant and then all of another type and so on based on what’s being loaded in the planes headed to Louisville from China. I wouldn’t worry or think differently about anything until early Thursday morning.

How is yours shipped and mine isn’t? I ordered over an hour before you.
