I live in san antonio which is 15 hours way from that location. I wonder if they would start driving here right when the planes land and separate everything. I guess they have all thursday to drive over here.

I'm assuming everything is being shipped next day air saver. So it will fly from KY to SAT, not get trucked. Ground from KY to SAT is 3 days so if it was going that way it would already be scanned and en route.

Cool. I think our Silver 256 followed the same pattern yesterday: morning CC charge, evening status change to shipping, and then in my case the UPS site showed that the shipment was created around then too. Hopefully I'll get a CC charge for our Space Grey 256 tomorrow morning. Guess I can stop checking T-Mo and the CC for the rest of the evening here.

I really hope this is the case with my 64gb Silver. I got charged early this morning, and hoping for a change in status on My Tmobile soon if not later this evening. Temporarily using a super old galaxy phone since I just sold my 7 plus. Really hope it comes in on Friday hahaha. I did get my Apple silicone case today though!

Mine changed to Shipped on Monday, I have it in my UPS calendar, but it's still just "An UPS label has been printed yadayada" - so it's been packed, but UPS hasn't gotten it yet. Origin is Louisville, so I'm not worried and expect it to update tomorrow and travel from Louisville to LA tomorrow night.

They'd better not lose it :)

Anyone have experience with launch day in Hawaii? I didn’t preorder the X, but wonder if the tmobile store up the road in Maui may have them at launch.

Anyone else worried about their phone getting stolen? I just had something delivered by ups next day air and it came at 10am. I’m worried about my phone coming at 10am because my daughter won’t get home till 3pm. So it will be there for five hours.

Hey, I was in the original 10-17 November group but I got my delivery date updated to 3.11.
However my order is still "Preparing for shipment"

Is this normal? I mean we are just 48hs from that date..

Y’all won’t believe the ******** that happen with me today. So I was supposed to get charged today by 3 pm this was told to me by a rep on the phone and by tforce online. so the lady Scheduled a call back with me to see if anything changed. So she calls me to tell me I wasn’t charged because for some reason the system is not founding it and now I have to wait until tomorrow to get charged and she will call back and check on it once again. Apparently everyone else it works for but not me? I’m getting different answers from different people

That’s bs. Go to Twitter and reach out to Art Lucero and see what he can do. His team helped me last year when my iPhone was sitting in a warehouse instead of on its way to me.

I had exactly the same date for my girlfriend’s phone but I got charged on Tuesday. However, the website still saying it’s in progress.

Well actually they charged me on saturday. I had to *fix* something in the payment method. But the delivery date never changed. Will they honor the delivery date?

If you fixed it on Saturday and you got charged you should be fine. Reading all the horror stories about banks rejecting charges recently and still not getting charged that all would be a reason to doubt a delivery date. They will honor the dates you received in your order. Now, if t-mo gets more stock and you get it earlier that’s a different story.

Interesting that the demo phone has a Face ID app on it. I wonder if Apple controls the wiping of the phone every day / night as well with their MDM.
That app is strictly for demo purposes; the phone resets overnight (photos, etc.) and that app allows customers to test out the feature. That's run by the demo software that comes installed from Apple. I'm not at my store today - that's one of my reps in the photo - but I went to another store today to play around with it in the back area. You can go through the setup and then unlock the device with your face. After a few minutes, it seems to auto clear and is ready for the next face.

Yeah, I definitely got charged. So just waiting for a tracking number from Apple.

As a side note, I've order the T-Mobile model (paid in full) but I'll use it with my carrier back in my country. Do I need a t-mobile sim the first time? or is it the same?

Still "Running". To be fair to TMobile, my order from the Apple Store charged my credit card and is still show "Preparing for Shipment". Both say expected delivery is 11/3.

You don’t need to activate it with T-Mobile as far as I know. You do however, have to make sure to request an unlock from T-Mobile since your phone is fully paid off. I’m not sure if T-Mobile iPhones are unlocked like the Verizon ones. I have Verizon. I’m only in this thread because I bought my girlfriend a phone for her account.

When they agree to unlock your phone, you will get the following email within 48 hrs:

"Unlock Code: SEE BELOW

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. 24 hours after receiving this email, follow the below instructions for unlocking your T-Mobile iPhone.
If you have a non-T-Mobile SIM card, follow these steps:

If you have a non-T-Mobile SIM card:
1. Insert non T-Mobile SIM Card
2. Complete the setup process.

If you will be using your T-Mobile SIM card follow the steps below:

1. Back up your iPhone using iTunes.
2. When you have a backup, erase your iPhone.
3. When you see the Welcome screen, connect your device to iTunes.

If successfully unlocked, the message Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked will display. Additional information for unlocking Apple iPhone devices can be located at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201328

Thank You,

Customer Service
T-Mobile USA, Inc."

Depends on the number of tmo stores and people on the island I’m sure if I you’re 1st in line you’ll get one.

I think a signature is required for this delivery. You should have UPS update it to leave it at the CC or you'll end up waiting another day.
