That app is strictly for demo purposes; the phone resets overnight (photos, etc.) and that app allows customers to test out the feature. That's run by the demo software that comes installed from Apple. I'm not at my store today - that's one of my reps in the photo - but I went to another store today to play around with it in the back area. You can go through the setup and then unlock the device with your face. After a few minutes, it seems to auto clear and is ready for the next face.

That's pretty neat. I wish they were in stores for demo before Friday. I guess I can wait two more days though. Enjoy your hands on tomorrow if you're going in to the store!

Wanna talk about torture? I'm off tomorrow, then I open early on Friday (for the launch). So I have to get people their phones and be there all day while MY phone sits helplessly at home... where my wife will be playing with hers and sending me Animojis that I can't reply to. The blatant and unmitigated injustice!!! lol

Hey, I feel your pain. I’m in the PNW. So many others will have their phones before my local ups even opens.

Guess we'll find out when there's movement on the shipping but I can't imagine a delivery this expensive will not need a signature.

No signature is required and UPS will leave at door. When I ordered I asked. They said package treated no differently then any other UPS delivery.

People who ordered the most expensive iPhone 7 model were close to this price and didn’t have to sign. Plus ups would say on the tracking info if a signature was required.

Has anyone with an 11/3 delivery date not seen any movement yet? I have a tracking number, but it still says "Order Processed: Ready for UPS)

Interesting. I guess times have changed. When I got the 6+, they required a signature. I guess this changes my options for UPS then. Maybe I'll just keep as is to deliver to my house instead of rerouting them to the UPS CC.
